Okay but Clay SHOT his son! The only way Bloberta could be considered worse is if she did kill one of her sons. Don't get me wrong, they're both pieces of shit. Blut Clay is in a whole other league of awfulness.

Then he drank the alcohol that was in Orel's first aid kit and when Orel told him that he hates Clay he just told him to hate away. Clay not only is fine with his son hating him he encourages it.
Davey and Goliath is just claymation Leave it to Beaver with more Judeo-Christian
Moral Orel is just a modern cynic's deconstruction. AKA, garden gnomes at it again

It's based on Leave it to Beaver. It was supposed to be a Live Action Sitcom starring Iggy Pop as the kid who would become Orel, but Iggy was too buzzed out of his mind when Dino pitched it. Supposedly he almost made the show with Marionettes but Team America had just came out and stopped right there.
It only became claymation when Mike Lazzo suggested turning it into that since Robot Chicken was entering production.
Bloberta was just kind of there for most of orels life. Clay actually seems like he gives some iota of a shit about orel, even if it is selfish. But yeah, clay shot orel so ehhh its hard to say. Then again, she does whip her head when potterswheel says orel was shot. I'd probably say clay if he was less emotionally unstable
Bloberta is so numb and neglectful, she doesn't have the capacity to ever give good advice or love, while Clay *is capable* of doing so, but he's a monster, so he would rarely ever do so.
So Bloberta is better -since she's not making things actively worse, but Clay has the potential to actually be of use.
I also think deep down Clay WANTS to care he just has so many demons and he's so fucked up he isn't capable. Bloberta on the other hand doesn't want to care, she doesn't want to be there. She just kind of goes through the motions.
They remind me so much of my own parents and I resent the one who was neglectful way more than the drunk physically abusive one who almost killed me several times. It felt like they were at least trying to care so Clay imho
I think it’s actually a tough choice and it probably comes down to the individual. I would’ve hated having a neglectful parent over an abusive one, so I think Clay is actually slightly better because I think deep down he actually does care about Oral in his own fucked up way.
clay is a beautiful handsome chad and bloberta's only personality traits are horny and cleaning. also it doesn't matter anyway because putty was this unseen evil force in orel's life who was responsible for planting a lot of ideas in his head that would lead to his traumas
I was rewatching Nature and some of season 3 yesterday out of the blue and while I know some people will argue because of personal views on what's worse, Bloberta is the better parent by a small margin. Despite how apathetic and numb she is to their family situation, she does have moments where she tries to be a mother. When Orel is in bed after getting shot, she feeds him fatty foods saying the doctor recommended them so his leg would clot, but really she was the one who saw a poster in the doctor's office advocating for it. She could've taken credit since she always wants to feel helpful but passed it off for some reason. She also takes in both Block and Shapey after failing to fix the swap instead of just leaving it alone or abandoning one of them.
Clay meanwhile knows how monstrous his own actions are towards his family but chooses to put his own victimhood ahead of all of them every time. Given the chance to change or do right by anyone in his life, he always refuses to take it in favor of fueling his victimhood. Even in the last episode, his jealousy wasn't about Orel preferring the coach as a father figure, but the coach not wanting to see Clay anymore.
How is this a actual question? Clay literally shot his own son.
Bloberta didn't even know her son was missing for weeks when she left him with another family

Clay did the same thing on top of shooting his other son
>his father never shot him
i'm so sorry for you
I'm not american.
He was also not asking you. But of course a mutt is not smart enough to realize that.
Yeah, by accident.
Then he drank the alcohol that was in Orel's first aid kit and when Orel told him that he hates Clay he just told him to hate away. Clay not only is fine with his son hating him he encourages it.
How much is it related to Davey and Goliath?
Davey and Goliath is just claymation Leave it to Beaver with more Judeo-Christian

The creators are christian too anon. Thought it was probably approved by garden gnomes

Not at all

You wanna know who else is the better parent?
IF YOU SAY YOUR MOM YOU'RE FIRED
MY MOM
IT WAS WORTH IT
WOOOOOO
Fucking lost.
what did you lost?

I think this is the best take. Bloberta is worthless, but Clay upsets any good he does by a big margin.
I also think deep down Clay WANTS to care he just has so many demons and he's so fucked up he isn't capable. Bloberta on the other hand doesn't want to care, she doesn't want to be there. She just kind of goes through the motions.
I'd have to say Bloberta just because she reacts slightly when her one kid comes home with an extra hole.
They remind me so much of my own parents and I resent the one who was neglectful way more than the drunk physically abusive one who almost killed me several times. It felt like they were at least trying to care so Clay imho
Same.
They're two awful people who had no business raising kids. The biggest miracle is that Orel never becomes broken like they are.
God it's sad to imagine how far Orel could've gone if he was raised by his grandfather or any loving guardian.
He managed despite it all, but he definitely went through too much shit on the way there
hey, he has a house, a loving wife and most importantly, he is happy.
It didn't go so badly for him in the end.
I think it’s actually a tough choice and it probably comes down to the individual. I would’ve hated having a neglectful parent over an abusive one, so I think Clay is actually slightly better because I think deep down he actually does care about Oral in his own fucked up way.
Neither. Multiple inheritance is bad design. Use Java.
