I never watched the show but I did look over the cast list.
My biggest question is why did Netflix not include a trans character even when there is one in a central role in a story from the source that they were trying to adapt?
I thought they loved LGBT stuff.

Netflix is a money laundering front. The other media companies figured this out and created their own, so now Netflix is up shit creek unless they keep making/signing and cancelling shows to perform Hollywood accounting to keep the service and higher ups going
Way too high a budget for something that didn't really get much attention. It was popular in a way but it didn't resonate with the mainstream at all and was forgotten quite quickly.
It all went to shit after the 5th episode. That show might as well would have been made in Nigeria. I started skipping that homie vortex storyline but it just wouldn't end.

They wanted this shit to be their answer to Rings of Power and Game of Thrones. Instead they got very middling new-release numbers that made it "#1" at about the same caliber allotted to Shrek or Father Stu.

Netflix spends very little on marketing for their products. They believe that by being the biggest streaming platform and slapping their show on the front of their site is marketing enough.
If a show doesnt have the word of mouth to carry itself from there, then that's not Netflix's problem.

Yeah, it's hard cope. Last week he was saying it's bombing because people weren't binging it. He really thinks everyone who dropped the show are just taking their time and will finish. No, it's trash and the few people who still love the (pozzed) comic don't want to see it pozzed three timed as badly and with awful acting. Any show that premieres on NF and is featured heavily on the front dashboard will be "#1" for a while.
