It's funny because they were subtle with it. They didn't put it in your face, and you only understand it if you know about it.

The instance of him uttering “num-barr fiff-tiiin” felt like a sledgehammer propeled by skyrockets suddenly slaming my face and thrusting my eyesockets inside my cranium.

How the fuck is that subtle? The episode stops the plot to make a reference to an internet meme.

It's a 6 second joke you nerd ass

It doesn't, though? Pim goes to Shrimpina's workplace which he assumed was a cafe, so the reference establishes that that girl works there by having her take a customer's order. That's how the mixup happened.

            >so the reference establishes that that girl works there by having her take a customer's order. That's how the mixup happened.
Did we really need a reference to an Internet meme to establish that?

It doesn't. I just told you why.
              >Did we really need a reference to an Internet meme to establish that?
No, as they could establish that she works there any number of ways. They just chose the one where they can make a reference. Hell, they could choose any number of ways to show she works there and make other references to some other media.

the funny thing about this is that my posts complaning about the joke with Chills were just trolling but it ended up making to autists unironically arguing about the joke.

He's a pretty down to earth guy who can take a joke and he's pretty nice from what I've seen from him. Who gives a shit he he makes "clickbait" videos I find his videos funny

Who gives a shit if he's "down to earth" and "pretty nice"? The part of him I'm being exposed to are his shitty videos. Is not like I'll ever be his close friend to experience how “nice” he is.

Yes, there are jokes in media that rely entirely on the material referenced. I’m sorry your autism prevents you from understanding this.

my autism just prevents me to fall for blatant propaganda in the form of "le random" “adult” cartoon shows.

I know this is bait, but in character tell me what propaganda Smiling Friends, and this joke in particular, is pushing? I would think you would like it as it pokes fun at all the “le edgy nihilist” adult cartoons.

is implied that mr. frog names the garden gnomes in live TV, but this character is portrayed as a deranged and “fallen from grace” actor, hence the show entails that only crazy people would even consider the possibility of Hollywood garden gnomes being bad people.

also, there are paralles between him and Mel Gibson's career, said paralles just end up tarnishing even more the image of a Hollywood celebrity who actually makes movies with Christian messages. therefore, Smilling friends is anti-Christian and pro-Globohomo propaganda.

The great tragedy of this show is that a lot of the jokes taken from OneyPlays don't land as well as they did on there. Somehow Zach bullshitting is funnier than him purposefully structuring a delivery and visual component.
