Someone at Hanabarbera looked at ths. Someone had to okay this. Someone thought "this will catch the eyes of buyers and get them to spend money on it!"
I applaud this person. If he said no we would never have ever seen this.
Not surprising since John K was such a HB autist.
He did some Yogi and Jetson shorts for CN too.
wish john k would draw more b***hes
Yeah
True, he work on the second season of the Jetsons, then went on to work with Ralph Bakshi, created Ren & Stimpy and then they brought him back to Hanna Barbera to do those weird Yogi Bear shorts
Good girl
*unzips pants*
>then they brought him back to Hanna Barbera to do those weird Yogi Bear shorts
Those were great, probably the last good thing he ever did, its before he did APC, which would completely wreck his career.
I grew up with this shit not knowing at the time what the hell I had just watched
Wish the heartaches could be made
He used to work for HB.
need more cans
What? You don’t remember the iconic scene where Fred gives Barney a purple nurple?
Wilma's copping a feel, too.
What's John up to nowadays?
He post sketches on Facebook sometimes and he's apparently working on this:

Wilma and Betty look kinda cute
> complete and uncut
Just like the ren and stimpy dvd set was...

Why does judy jetson looks ccuuttee?
cute
Damn, Wilma.
Its always fricking hilarious to me when the Funneh Bois reference John and I love how they memorized the Cans Without Labels script
Who said THIS ONES GOT TWO RINGS at 2:59? Their impression is perfect.
It’s either gotta be Tomar or Chris. Also hearing Julian says “Dikes”, makes me giggle

Sounds like they didn't know about the original Goddamn George Liquor Program. It actually was the first flash cartoon series produced, came out back in October 15, 1997. Apparently, John K. even worked with Macromedia for a while during the development of Flash, giving them some suggestions.
http://coldhardflash.com/2007/04/john-ks-guide-to-surviving-end-of.html
>AARON: When you first started tinkering with Flash – did you immediately see the potential?
>JOHN: Even before Flash. As soon as I discovered the web in the early 90s, I waited for something like Flash to come along.I worked with Macromedia for a while and they added a lot of my suggestions to the program. Sadly, it hasn’t really progressed in the last 5 years. It still has a lot of bugs and isn’t animator friendly. I wish I could develop a simple and sensible animation program that does everything real professionals would like, but leaves out all the cheesy stuff and uses a real ex sheet.
>AARON: Looking back on The Goddamn George Liquor Program shorts you created for the internet – do you have any critiques of your own work?
>JOHN: Oh yeah – big time. When I started the cartoons, it was an experiment just to see whether Flash was even capable of doing cartoon animation at all. At the time, people were just using it for animated lettering in banner ads and some simple games. I looked at it and thought, “Hmm, I’ll bet we could make animation with this.” We had a Flash expert who was working at Microsoft who would tell us what Flash couldn’t do. Lip sync for example. He told us, as did the Macromedia tech support people, that we shouldn’t even bother trying to have the characters talk. So we made them talk.
>The first thing we were concerned with was how technically to make Flash make cartoons. We didn’t know where it would take us yet.

Another George Liquor related thing from back in the day, seems like it could've been good. Shame it never happened.
I remember when this was new. It was supposed to promote the Pontiac Vibe, but the car got cancelled and so did the cartoon.
You're right, found an old blog post about it
http://johnkstuff.blogspot.com/2008/03/george-liquor-pilot-sketches.html
Does anyone even like the character though? I don't feel like he has a lot of other fans than John K himself
I like him, but I think you're right that John K. loves the character more than most people.
George Liquor and Hank Hill promoting a UFC fight (Cormier vs. Jones 2). The commercial says UFC 200, but the fight ended up in UFC 214 instead because of Jones getting suspended for a year.

Uploaded it to Youtube for easier viewing
well that was fast.
Can you upload it on internet archive instead? Or a zip file?
>the Funneh Bois
Who?
Oh, I guess these guys. I love Oney now.
>That time John did a yiff porn music video for Tenacious D

Interesting, interesting!
That doesn't look that bad. Why is Cinemaphile mad about it?
Why did John made Wilma cheat on Fred with the paper boy?
THIS ONE’S GOT A GOLD LID
TWO RINGS IN IT
AND THREE RINGS AROUND THE MIDDLE
>Laserdisc release
I swear, if this is a 2022 release, of a Laserdisc outside of Japan I will be so very fricking confused that I'll go to bed right now and wake up at a semi-reasonable hour.
Nah, it's from 1997
