It’ll be so godawful that it’ll make the shitty fourth movie seem okay by comparison.

Disney has enough paid shills in the media to prop it up some, but not enough.

The real damage was Variety savaged it. If Variety hates it, it's over. Variety is well known to be a Disney mouthpiece. You could even speculate Iger ordered the savaging, to lay the groundwork to nix all of her shiny new Rey movies. He might not have the balls to fire her, but he can yank her budgets out from under her.

There's that new-ish YT channel WDW-Pro. These guys are getting good sources now, unlike that show tune siging homosexual Doomcock or that Jeet deathcult member narcissist Kamran Pasha. Their last show on Thursday went in deep, Kennedy had a BAD week last week:

Indy 5 got "meh" reviews at Cannes, people were bored watching.
It was announced the Star Wars Hotel was closing for good while Kennedy was in the premier (so she couldn't do damage control)
Willow the TV show was removed from Disney+, because of poor performance
Variety and some other big name review sites BTFO Indy 5.

I think Iger is trying to shame her into leaving. It's beyond obvious she has blackmail material on them all, so they're trying to force her out. But she might be a big enough cunt to refuse to leave, not matter what.

An internal war between Iger and Kennedy - I'm here for that shit. They'll both kill each other's career in the process. I don't give a flying fuck about anything Disney, but i want to see them rip each other's throats out.

Iger was the one who started the oversaturation of these brands to begin with.

Go read how he strong-armed George Lucas into selling to them

And? So he didn't know how inept and toxic Kennedy was. And learned, quickly. Stop trying to have a point.

why don't they just lower the price of the hotel

Because nobody was buying, after they lowered the prices. Try to keep up.

She’s had plenty of terrible weeks. She’s done so many fireable offenses at this point and not only have they refused to fire her, they renewed her contract instead of just letting it expire. At this point it seems she can do just about anything, lose untold billions for Disney, and they’ll keep her anyway. I hope the cunt gets fired but I doubt it’ll ever happen, unless maybe if someone from outside Disney replaces Iger (Iger approved every one of Kuntleen’s disastrous decisions, he’s just as responsible).

One think that I feel is important is that the relics of the first four movies were all based on stuff in religion, mythology or real artifacts but from what I've been able to find, the Dial of Destiny is completely made up for this movie.

I also find it hilarious they made Nazis the villains again instead of the Commies so they don't offend China, but then the Russians attack Ukraine and it feels obvious to have kept them as the villains as the Nazis weren't much of a thing by the late 60's/early 70's.

They probably wanted Nazis for memberberries and to distance themselves from Crystal Skull, which had Russian commies as the villains.
