>EXCLUSIVE: Michael Waldron has been tapped to write Marvel Studios‘ Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. Waldron had already been set to write the installment that would follow Kang Dynasty and will now write both films. Waldron has become one of Marvel’s most trusted creative minds having previously created and served as showrunner of season 1 of Loki as well as writing Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness and the move make sense to the studio to have him pen both films. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige will produce.

I mean it’s the only Marvel thing in recent times that was received well, seems like a practical choice
Loki was good.
>capeshit is good
better than tranime but it's close
>Loki was good
It was good. Not great, but definitely a solid 7/10 compared to disney's constant 0s. The ending was one of the best Marvel has had since Thanos
>Loki was good
>Nothing happens from episodes 2 to 5
>Show isn't actually about Loki and his character is in fact shat on
>Entirely convoluted world building and a shit show ending
Sure thing dumb dumb
>*Loki was good if you're a brain dead capeshitter who unironically watched the entirety of Ms Marvel and paid to see The Marvels in the cinema
Reply to him not me if you agree moron
>Loki and his character is in fact shat on
Quick question, are you aware his character has been shat on since the first Avengers movie? I mean so badly the original director of Thor was furious and Loki was only made the villain at the last moment during development, it wasn't even suppose to be him. His motivation was a complete 180 from the last 2 movies and that's because they hastily wrote him in.
Quick question, do you think I give a shit about any of that in regards to my post? He was shat on in the past.. ok? He was shat in the show again. You got a point fool? The show was shit regardless of him being shit before
Because the point is that Loki was never power hungry or wanted a throne. That was shoved into his character just for the avengers movie. The Loki series reversed that and brought him back with a new character arc. If you think the tv show ruined his character then you must think Avengers made him into a good character.
Wall of text to cope about Lokis shit characterization in a show. Can't bother reading
>It was good.
>It was good. Not great, but definitely a solid 7/10 compared to disney's constant 0s. The ending was one of the best Marvel has had since Thanos
Ok, you got me... I keked
yes although waldron had no part in season 2. he only wrote the first one
Yup eric martin wrote most of loki
Even in S1 too. I read an interview of Eric complaining about how Waldron left him with the bulk of the work in S1 after just leaving abruptly for Multiverse of Madness and it's just fricking hilarious. He's a hack.
Is it opposite day?
Weeeell now boys, looks like we got ourselves a goyslopper here.
>Last guy on board, Jeff Loveness, was a Rick and Morty writer who wrote one of the worst MCU movies
>New guy is also a Rick and Morty writer who wrote the most convoluted capeshit I’ve seen since Batman v Superman
This movie is fricked.
What is Kevin Feige’s obsession with hiring Rick and Morty writers?!
The general public doesn’t even like it anymore with the ratings going down.
Yet, Kevin has hinged the entire MCU on them. I am shocked he hasn’t hired Harmon to write an MCU film.
>Yet, Kevin has hinged the entire MCU on them. I am shocked he hasn’t hired Harmon to write an MCU film.
Harmon did write a few jokes for at least one movie (Doctor Strange 1) but apart from not needing the money, he's uncontrollable and used to being in charge. In other words, not MCU writer material.
he knows redditors like marvel and he’s trying to pander to them. i’d bet it.
Makes the most sense considering Loki is the prequel to Kang Dynasty.
y'know, i hate Black folk as much as the next guy, but I thought he did a really good job. He was a bit over the top at the end of season 1, but his character in s2 was pretty damn good.
If I ever catch this c**t outside, I'd like to ask him why the frick did the Loki that had superhuman strength and martial arts, was somehow overpowered by some fat woman and a bunch of other nobodies. Even without magic, he could easily snap a human into.
into what
I thought he was already writing it
He's the guy who introduced all the main characters in it and it's written in a way where you can tell he's the only one with a full grasp of what's going on
Who the hell was writing it before
>it's written in a way where you can tell he's the only one with a full grasp of what's going on
>Rules of the multiverse set up in Loki are non existent in multiverse of madness
>Rules in multiverse of madness direct contradict Loki
>He wrote both
Lmao based moron you are.
explain how
What rules?
I don't know what any of these means. can some nerd please explain?
The believed rumor was that the guy playing Kang was fired due to the spousal abuse/rape charges or whatever, and they killed the entire storyline, but this would seem to prove that untrue as he is writing a Kang Dynasty show, although I guess it could just be a new actor?
>OH NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA
Reddit moment.
Why does he look so smug?
His character writing is almost impressively terrible, but Feige likes "Loki" (he's wrong) and at least one member of the Multiverse of Madness cast has insisted that the poor quality of the script wasn't his fault, so I guess he proves that if you get along with producers and actors you can fail upwards forever.
Meanwhile the Quantumania guy got fired from this very movie because his movie flopped, when part of the reason it flopped was the disappointment in the MCU that Doctor Strange 2 set in motion.
Lesson: Make the right friends and make sure you're assigned to the earlier projects.
Another fun fact, Waldron didn't even stick around for Loki S1. He left because of Multiverse of Madness half way through and then dumped writing on Eric Martin and the director. Loki S1 wasn't even good because of him. Not to mention some of his original ideas in the bringing were shot down for being fricking garbage. One of which was Loki taking all the infinity stones to jump around the multiverse and go on a montage of wacky adventures, including a giant alien orgy. S1 would have just been a Rick and Morty parody if they didn't pull him back.
>Loki S1 wasn't even good because of him
Funny, it wasn't even good because of anyone else either
It did well commercially regardless of how much you hate it. That's why Waldron is being rehashed.
How well I did commercially has nothing to do with what I posted no matter how much you cope shill. Want to try again?
It*
33 is code
Who keeps telling them we want more capeshit?
I honestly thought you guys were joking about the George Floyd looking guy playing a character named Kang. I thought it was a We wuz Kangz n shiet joke.
No you honestly didn't dumbass. As through just be on the Internet and this board especially, you would have seen pictures, trailers, webms etc of promo material, clips, the like. Don't play dumb to fit in you sad Black person
I thought they were photoshopped...
>I was just pretending to be moronic
No, they were grooming him to play st. Floyd but he couldn’t keep it in his pants and bit someone’s ear.
He was already writing Secret wars why is this a surprise
At this point Shitsney has ruined their brand so bad that the only people that will work for them are the hacks currently employed.
There really is no hope for this shit company.
Disney is the entertainment company that provides entertainment by watching them fail and for former fans to root for their demise.
What does he have on Kevin feige lmao multiverse of madness was fricking trash
Kangbros, we eating good
