    >In an interview from 2023, the filmmaker suggested Ryan Gosling shouldn’t have been involved in the Greta Gerwig film and instead focus on “more serious films.”

      >“Ryan Gosling is wasting his time if he’s doing that shit for money. He should be doing more serious films. He shouldn’t be a part of this infantilization of Hollywood. Now it’s all fantasy, fantasy, fantasy, including all the war pictures: fantasy, fantasy,” Oliver said in an interview with City AM.
      >Stone took a shot at the Fast and Furious franchise as well, saying that he used to enjoy the films, but recently, they “have become like Marvel movies. I mean, how many crashes can you see?”
      >During the same interview, Stone also expressed his opinions on John Wick, the Keanu Reeves-starring franchise.
      >“On the plane I watched John Wick, which is three hours and some. And I fell asleep about 778 times during it,” he revealed. “I kept waking up and having to face him killing more people. It’s like the world has degenerated into non-logic.”

I have not watched JFK, and now I'm annoyed that I didn't watch JFK and then Nixon back to back.
How does the JFK movie compare with Nixon, seeing as Nixon has fricking Anthony Hopkins as a lead and even the guy from law & order as the CIA director.
The guy who played Kissenger was spot on.
Would love to see a Kissenger biopic.

First one was good, but it also is one of those things that kind of gets ruined because of what came after it. I didn't even watch the third one, but heard good things about 4. I literally did fall asleep in the theater watching 4. The over head Hotline Miami scene was pretty fricking cool on the big screen though.

John Wick was good at first but then it just increasingly became more like a videogame, except you cannot play it, just watch. The last one is the worst in this regard, just Keanu killing hordes after hordes of faceless henchmen, without receiving any kind of damage himself. The choreography and cinematography was not even good anymore because the cgi was to obvious.

Blaming the actors is dumb. Blame the other directors for making dumb films instead.

Great example is Apollo 13 vs Mission to Mars. Both have a fine cast and good efects, but Mission to Mars is just dumb and DePalma made it that way. Gary Sinise is totally wasted on that stupid film.

Goose obviously enjoys the movies he plays in and he himself said that all the characters he played so far are like a reflection of his true self.

But I can also understand Stone for being mad that the Goose is pissing away his talent by starring in movies, the ones that are pandering to the masses.
