I’m a lawyer. You’re just a dumbfrick who doesn’t understand what we do. The law isn’t a competition between people defending criminals and people persecuting them. The law is where what is fair and what coheres with precedent and established rules wins out, and to do that each aspect of a case must be subject to the full rigour of the law. Cry and seethe about us, your society only operates because of the work we do. We are atlas.

You didn't watch the show did you? This lawyer is in the pocket of a criminal enterprise. He is 100% morally wrong.

The defences he gave were legal. Ergo it wasn’t morally wrong. The character didn’t engage in crime himself he just proved when charges were unfair in a court of law.

          >lawyer who makes a living by keeping very obvious criminals that he is 100% aware of on the streets tries to discredit a witness by appealing to morality
          >omar calls him out on his shit saying he is no better

Legality and morality are two different things and can even be at odds with one another.

this guy is either completely delusional or just trolling. not even a lawyer would agree with this i'd guess he's an aspiring lawyer.

I mean our legal system is literally called adversarial, of course the two sides are competing.
They pretend it's nothing personal because that's part of their professional code of ethics, but obviously they have biases.

Just admit you want to make a mockery of the rule of law and have people arrested and killed on your own personal whim.

      >help criminals keep their assets when they should be seized (crime)
      >help criminals generate fraudulent paperwork to exploit the system (crime)

It’s also pretty illegal to knowingly supply the police with evidence against your clients.

No, I was arrested for beating up someone that abused me as a kid and it’s absolutely a game of who can win. The DA will throw as many charges as possible against you, and your attorney attempts to minimize the severity of what you did. Neither is an unbiased party which is why we have a judge to keep order between them, but usually the judge will side one way or another fairly obviously depending on if the defendant was a minor, gang member, had previous convictions, family support, etc.

He’s right about that particular lawyer but people who try to extrapolate the logic to compare normal defense lawyers to criminals are moronic

A normal defense lawyer doesn’t break the law to keep their clients out of jail for profit.
