HBO max signed a deal so that they get all new South Park episodes on their platform the day after the premiere on Comedy Central.
So Paramount ordered 14 South Park """movies""" for Paramount Plus.
So now there's 6 episodes per season followed by 2 movies.
Basically a sneaky way for the series to be split between HBOmax and Paramount Plus.

Southpark to Comedy central is like Spongebob to nickelodeon. They NEED southpark to keep them afloat as a company.

clearly you don't know the human condition. more is never enough. this goes doubly-so for the ultra rich. not to mention the ultra rich stop trying to get more stuff for themselves and start trying to change the world into their form of utopia.

Maybe because they still like making the show and care about the jobs of all the people who work on it?

South Park can go on forever by just satirising current events, something which The Simpsons and Family Guy couldn’t do which is why they went to shit when they ran out of ideas

Trey and Matt completely fricked over Paramount with their deal. If you pay almost a billion dollars for a franchise that hasn't been relevant in more than a decade, at least make sure that they produce full seasons of more than 20 episodes and not this "6 episodes in March and maybe 6 more episodes in September if we feel like it" bullshit. Also, make sure that the feature length specials are actually feature length. A 48 minutes special that doesn't even have enough content for a 20 minute episode, so you have that one character from an episode from 15 years ago say "pee pee" a lot is a rip-off.

I don't get this attitude. You can watch the show anytime you want, the GOOD version of the show in the past instead of the life support sad version now. It's not when it goes off the air you can never watch south park again.
