15 years ago David Cross was easily the more successful one. Arrested Development was a critical darling, his stand-up specials did well, he'd have his own show in a couple years, and he had parts in a ton of big feature films. If I had to guess I would say he's currently chilling, enjoying that Chipmunk money.

yeah before BB, Bob's career was in the tank, he directed a few movies that were both huge stinkers (Lets Go to Prision and Brothers Solomon) tanked at the box office and annihilated in the reviews. being the guy who discovered Tim & Eric (esp with him doing cameos in every tom goes to the mayor and awesome show episode) was pretty much the thing he was most known for up until he got on BB.
Cross was the bigger star back then, but Bob always had a more impressive comedy resume, especially as a writer. writer on the best era of SNL, on of the original Conan writing staff, Ben Stiller Show, Get a Life, The Dennis Miller late night show from the early 90s (the network tv one that existed before the HBO one), The Dana Carvey Show, etc
