I only hate byrne run tough.Pollack and Way are a hit or miss but they aren't shit like byrne.
The SA stuff is one of the best Silver age teams, only thomas Avengers and Kirby FF are better
Doom Patrol being a bit antagonistic/alienated when it comes to traditional heroes is a welcomed change. DP just being weirdos who show up is boring. Making them butt heads is good for drama and story dynamics.
It'd be interesting if they were portrayed as being in the wrong on some things or not flanderizing other super heroes but nope, we have to turn them into a carbon copies of the X-Men!
Who was being forced to against his will by Peacemaker, it's not being them being portrayed as being in the wrong. Why again do other superheroes have to be framed as antagonistic instead of both groups acting like adults?

What kind of an argument is that? The infiltrator being forced to do it changes nothing about the fact the DP is depicted as being trustful and it’s going to bite them in the ass. The conflict between characters is blatantly about DP being pigheaded how they supposedly know better because it’s their story and it’s dumb hubris on their part

Didn't need to have another story where Doom patrol goes against regular heroes to help a weirdo.
its a miniseries maybe an ongoing series can get away with doing two similar stories if they are far apart.
. I like the art and the characters though but they should have just done something else for this issue.

The Silver Age stuff is kind of dull.
Seems like all this book does is 'rescue' people from establishment heroes and scold them along the way.
It makes me laugh.
Giving the Doom Patrol attitudes that the X-Men have was a mistake.
I want to like this book but yeah, every issue is "guest star acts like an idiot so the Doom Patrol can put them in their place"
Like, you can do your attempt at making them more X-Men without having them butt heads with the JLA
Also this is one of the at least four fricking books with Cenamaker in it and god I'm sick of it.
