most of the cast were bongs in that show
Hollywood has always hired us to play villains.
It was shot in Hertfordshire, Bongland
With the exception of a few bigger actors they hired locally and Brits do have the best pool of well trained, cheap talent for film and theatre.
Band of brothers had a bunch of bong actors in it. Honestly Brits are just better actors.
Yeah, this homosexual bong really looked out of place next to an all-american actor like Damien Lewis.
Brits are some of the biggest homosexuals on earth
>t. san Francisco resident
A lot of it was filmed in England so it made sense to hire British actors from the more minor roles.
And then a lot of Brit actors are theatrically trained and can do American accents pretty convincingly, so they suit more serious dramas and leading roles.
Pic related.
Americans are better at playing Americans than Americans, more relatable too
>>over 400 million Americans in existence
regrettably, yes
>In 1970, Sobel shot himself in the head with a small-calibre pistol in an attempted suicide. The bullet entered his left temple, severing his optic nerves and rendering him blind. Soon afterwards, he began living at a Veterans Administration assisted-living facility in Waukegan, Illinois, where he died on September 30, 1987; the death certificate listed malnutrition as the cause of death. No memorial service was held.
Why did he do it?
>couldn't even succeed at suicide
he knew the Holocaust was a lie
>No memorial service was held.
How fricking insufferable do you need to be for your family to not even mourn your death?
>died of malnutrition
clearly enough that the home thought it was easier to let you starve to death and face a potential lawsuit than deal with your BS for one more day. Given there was no funeral I guess they knew the family wouldnt care either.
>He married Rose, a former military nurse from South Dakota whosecatholicism was disapproved of by Sobel's israeli family. They raised three sons, who attended church weekly with Rose, before divorcing
unbelievably cucked
>OI' MATE GOD BLESS THE KING GUVNA, FANCY GOING TO THE PUB FOR A NICE WARM ALE AND GETTING PISSED OFF OUR KNICKERS? WE CAN WATCH THE BOYS BRING FOOTY BACK HOME LIKE THEY ALWAYS FAIL TO DO!
>what if we took the american mutt but made it BRITISH?! that would totally get them!!!
The Americans can't meme
I'll never get that either. Same with russians. Country that has like a billion people and you almost never see a russian actor play him. In Tenet, Kennet fricking Brannagh plays a russian mobster.

CANZUK mafia is huge in hollywood
>There hasn't been an American Peter Parker for 16 years...
spider-man - british twice
superman - british once
batman - british twice
mcu used to be very american until phase four. the only american that's left is anthony mackie....maybe paul rudd
Now all we need is a British Captain America.
America actually ran out of white people 23 years ago which is why half the films Hollywood pumps out are now UK co-productions filmed in the UK (so they have easy access to a large white, English speaking population)
>UK
>large white, English speaking population
whiter than america
Isn't your PM literally a poo?
I'm American
Your president is literally a ghoul.
Didnt you have a literal african born muslim gay Black person for a president?
Hardly any attractive white people left in Hollywood
America is a country full of Anglophiles. It's the perfect casting. The men were karate chop saluting themselves silly and their women were rubbing their legs together in a puddle.
Simon Pegg, the very worst of us, a barely amusing corpse to the British, is a hero to the US.
BoB has a lot of surprising actors show up
Coz it was a british production shot in britain and Pegg was readily available and he only has like 1 line in the entire show.
>he only has like 1 line in the entire show.
He is colonel Sink's orderly, he's in at least two episodes.
can't take Pegg seriously in a dramatic role as it just looks like the opening to a Big Train sketch
Probably someone in production that loved Spaced.
>392 million Americans in existence
>hire a israelite to play and American
why indeed?
Brits are less unionized and go for cheaper rates
