That cartoon was actually horrible, I couldn’t even make it half way through.
I thought Pipi was kinda funny. A little morbid for my taste, but the visuals were gorgeous. No idea why it completely overshadowed Monkey Wrench tho. I thought Zeurel was a pretty well-known YouTube animator. Visibility shouldn't have been an issue.

I personally liked the fact that it fully committed to making the hero a flawed, bumbling character. Reminds me of Atkinson's description of Mr Bean as an incredibly selfish and inept character, even though both are ultimately loveable.
As a waifu gay it pained me to see him speed run and save no princesses only for the "Choosing the dragon instead" joke.

I find the space mercs concept a bit redundant nowadays, but that was a great pilot. The soundtrack was so good I had to buy it right after watching. It's a real shame it's not getting more views.

That's how I feel. Seems everyone wants to do a buddy space adventure for their indie cartoon, so you need something REALLY special to truly stand out. Monkey Wrench was still pretty fun tho.
Nothing wrong with wanting to make a buddy space adventure, but there is definitely more you heroes can be beside bounty hunters, space marines or police officers. One of the greatest animated sci-fi series is about a delivery crew.

The thing that makes them "a bit bland" is the fact that most of them are actually pretty generic monster/alien designs. Not even adding some eye lashes, lipstick or boobs can fix that.

There was one thing I noticed in the background that made it interesting: Terrans, as in humans, are to be killed on sight. One poster they walked past was informing the public to report any terran sightings, with a pair featured on the poster being executed. I'm interested, if only to see why humans are the boogeymen of this series.
Like are they going the way of HCS, where humans are these unkillable hyper violent apes that are a danger to society, are they some disease carrier that needs purging, or is it some authoritarian scheme to keep the public scared of something that really isn't that threatening? They cpild go many places with this alone.

Audio mixing is off. The voices overpower everything else and sometimes don't match the location the characters are in. If that can be fixed though I think it's pretty alright.
