You know I think the semi bimbo Dipper or likely Macy at the end is honestly a quite fascinating as a character beyond this concept of genderswap.
We know Dipper has always been a nerd and is insecure about his forehead birthmark so I could see this alternate Macy playing into the ditzy Californian stereotype in order to distract from those aspects. She is equally intelligent, and nerdy as Dipper himself however she covers it up with the persona of a flirty bimbo as she is actually quite a bit more insecure than Dipper. This is probably compounded by her universe’s version of Mabel teasing her and calling her Dipper while not realizing how much she is really hurting her twin emotionally. Furthermore if she shares Dipper’s orientation than that means the translation would make her gay, which while very accepted in California, is still uncommon overall and could add another layer to her insecurities especially if she is still in the closet
I could easily see her being far more susceptible to peer pressure from many parties and being a lot more scared to hurt the feelings of others. Sometimes even going against her instinct and following the group to keep up the bimbo look out of fear that people may think less if her should she reveal her true self
