People who say "people who say Superman is boring have probably never read or watched any decent superman media", have probably never read or watched almost any superman media whatsoever.
Since if you had you'd know people who find superman boring do so not because of his character and personality at least not most of the time, but because he's superman (aka win button, god, etc).

The main problem is that almost all of new Superman media in the past few decades has been ass. Battle shounen manga may be mind-numbingly repetitive but it's at least allowed to refresh itself for each successive generation, something that most legacy superheroes struggle with.
>Battle shounen manga may be mind-numbingly repetitive but it's at least allowed to refresh itself for each successive generation
if you look past the surface-level differences you will realize that every shonen is the same shit
Both of those characters are fricking gay as frick. Superhero slop and anime trash are both bottom of the barrel homosexualry.
Shut the frick up homosexual.
Why the frick has Superman been potrayed as a Boyscout anyway? When did that start? He used to be a massive butthole in the Silver age
And was a terrifying force of nature in the golden age
A reboot changed him. I think it’s hilarious that Superman is recognized as a boyscout when he was created to be an butthole.
Christopher Reeve era cemented it

>sees his entire family slaughtered by demons
>gets over it the next episode
lol
He doesn't get over it for the entire course of the manga run. It's his #1 motivation factor for hating and killing demons, you dumb pleb.
Both of them are lame. I prefer antiheroes.
Unless your setting is fricking Baki where there's just one strongest guy and everyone else knows that he is the strongest and there are no doubts about it, 'The Strongest' can't ever be an "fact", because you will never be completely sure you're the strongest
Because Superman has the power to save literally everyone and doesn’t.
He literally can't save everyone because he doesn't have the power to cure heart attacks.
Define “saving everyone” because when Superman takes full charge you get literally every “subversive” clone including injustice
Superman feels like fake positivity.
Superman is fake positivity.
idk whos still reading supershit. they all must be over 60yo people. its simply fricking old in everything.
Sorry, capeboy. It is what it is.
The issue is with Superman they never just play him straight there always has to be some kind of subversive angle these days. People want a "good guy doing good things" story but no one wants to write one.
Didnt this anahilate the big two in sales?
How?
Covid. Also really good marketing. Otherwise, it's just a standard big budgeted anime funded by the one biggest Japanese companies.
Essentially, it won the lottery.
Dumb excuse. Why didn't other manga take advantage of covid to outsell the big 2? Why only Kimetsu no yaiba?
JJK is another example of selling egregiously fast, but that was late into covid lockdown, so it couldn't take full advantage off of bored shut-ins looking for entertainment. It went from selling 30 million copies in a single year to barely getting past 1/5th of that. At one point, it even beat MHA's lifetime sales.
>MHA
You need to remember the Time, My Hero Academy released while Naruto and Bleach ended, meanwhile JJK came out when there was nostalgia for those two
East vs West Black folk should be fricking drawn and quartered
Tanjiro isn't all powerful and struggles in the face of overwhelming odds to defeat heroes stronger than him. Superman has godlike powers and writers struggle to come up with new contrivance to create stories with interesting conflicts about him.
>win button
That's literally every main character in their own TV show. They ultimately prevail at the end outside a few outliers.
shounens are undedog stories that transition into the MC is a descendant of god. Superman is never the underdog.
Superman punches above his weight class all the time.
Superman recently just became way to OP and it seems like DC doesn't want to steer away from making him an unstructured god that can turn a bullet in to a paper crane usinf his eye ball. This why I only really like the classic shorts cause while he can still deflect bullets it's clear they still have force and can hurt him.
Demon slayer is shit anyway.
Tanjiro and Superman would be friends
Zenitsu and Inosuke end up bothering Jimmy
