Bitch, the shit you're talking about is the backstory of a single toy in Toy Story 2, you probably remember the movie being about that because 90% of the plot is dumb filler about a chicken man kidnapping Woody and trying to ship him to a Chinese toy museum or whatever. Also it turns into a lazy Star Wars parody at some point for some reason.

I've seen it and to be honest, Turning Red felt like it dealt with the concept of adolescence and puberty way better, despite TR being a bit rushed in parts. IO2 felt too santized and safe. Disappointing tbh
The 2 is for two-spirit, some Native American thing where someone claims to have the spirit of both a man and a woman. So of course it's been assimilated. And nobody likes being in the plus because they insist on having their own letter to appease their own ego. It's the same reason why the pride flag, which once was a simple expression of diverse types of queerness coming together, has become an abomination of disjointed stripes.
