Literally not true.
It took 2 decades for people to acknowledge that Cruise was right about anti-depressants. before then, they didn't even want to consider it because of his scientology ties.
Spirited Away is the most overrated animated film of all time.
Treasure Planet, another animated movie that came out like a year later and is also loosely based on 19th century literature, is vastly superior in every way but gets unfairly forgotten or neglected.
Yes, it’s fricking good.
Jim and Silver’s relationship was so much more developed than the cringe and robotic character relationships we got in Spirited Away. Frick weebs and self-hating Hollywood conoisseurs for not recognizing animated kino
"filmmaker"
Tom has never directed a single movie.
He has only produced, oversaw, but never directed.
Don't be silly now, Scorsese is the best filmmaker alive and Pacino is the best actor alive even though he basically died as an actor in the 90s
More uninformed and tasteless than controversial. You are a fan of Hollywood's flagship lizard person who in involved exclusively in $100 mil. budget projects. How brave.
It’s not edgy or provocative to say “I love Tom Cruise” anymore.
His overglorified war propaganda movie made over a billion dollars worldwide. Cruisegays need to get over themselves.
>You are a fan of Hollywood's flagship lizard person who in involved exclusively in $100 mil. budget projects. How brave.
Literally every movie of his is produced by himself. He hasn't been on the Hollywood shekels since a long time ago. Same as Mel.
I think my opinion is more controversial, that Tom really isn't a very good actor or charismatic, but he has a lot of drive and works hard for his movies
Mel Gibson, Bruce Willis, Schwarzenegger, John Wayne, The Rock. Cruise has got a tragically weak voice which severely diminishes his presence. I put him in the same camp as Kurt Russell. He can look cool but can't talk the talk. Can't deliver the lines like the best of them. Still think he's a good entertainer though
tokyo drift is peak fast and furious
warzone is the best punisher
miller's crossing is peak coens
rocky 6 is peak rocky
mystic river is peak eastwood
sandler's longest yard is better than the original
clive owen would've been a better bond than craig
babylon 5 mogged deep space 9, and therefore all the lesser treks too
josh brolin would've been better than batfleck for dkr bats
david lowery has never made a good movie, nor has damien chazelle or sofia coppola
corbucci was a hack
>josh brolin would've been better than batfleck for dkr bats >david lowery has never made a good movie, nor has damien chazelle or sofia coppola >sandler's longest yard is better than the original >clive owen would've been a better bond than craig
I agree with these 100%
i'm ambivalent about crowe v cruise for vincent. cruise played vincent's nihilism with an almost spiteful intensity whereas i imagine crowe's would've been a more resigned and apathetic doomer
cruise's intensity comes across in the physicality too. very rigid and economic which works for the character. idk if crowe would've handled that differently or been as effective
sandler was going to play max. i think he would've been better than foxx
You said *controversial* you moron, there's nothing controversial about this.
Most people hate him because of the scientology stuff. Some call him a cult leader.
Most people are adults and can separate someone's personal life from their professional work
>Most people are adults and can separate someone's personal life from their professional work
based as frick
Cringe. Only zoomers say "based af" lmao
no cap?
They why do so many people get canceled these days

how is this controversial? WHO THE FRICK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? I WILL FRICK YOU UP!!!
I laughed so hard when he capped that scene off by asking his staff to find out who he was yelling at. Pure comedic kino.
preaching to the choir bud
Cinemaphile is a tom cruise board

Treasure Planet, another animated movie that came out like a year later and is also loosely based on 19th century literature, is vastly superior in every way but gets unfairly forgotten or neglected.
Treasure Planet is 100% the best animated movie Disney ever made.
Yes, it’s fricking good.
Jim and Silver’s relationship was so much more developed than the cringe and robotic character relationships we got in Spirited Away. Frick weebs and self-hating Hollywood conoisseurs for not recognizing animated kino
I fricking hate Spirited Away. So drawn out and unpleasant.
Kiki's Delivery Service and Howl's Moving Castle are the two best Ghibli movies. The only really good scene in Spirited Away is the train scene.
>and it’s gonna send my FATASS KID to space camp
he tried to warn the people about the israelites in hollywood but no once listened and everyone laughed
He also warned them about psychiatric drugs.
He’s probably screaming inside 24/7 for one reason or another
when?

I heard there is a Les Grossman spinoff movie in talks right now
Tom Cruise owns the rights to the character, so it would make sense.
a Les Grossman Paramount + show would be KINO
Cruise should direct
I think my opinion is more controversial, that Tom really isn't a very good actor or charismatic, but he has a lot of drive and works hard for his movies
>or charismatic
Name an actor with more charisma
Mel Gibson, Bruce Willis, Schwarzenegger, John Wayne, The Rock. Cruise has got a tragically weak voice which severely diminishes his presence. I put him in the same camp as Kurt Russell. ???????????
it's a controversial opinion thread
i get that, i just don't see how you could come to this conclusion
clive owen > daniel craig
simple as
>josh brolin would've been better than batfleck for dkr bats
>david lowery has never made a good movie, nor has damien chazelle or sofia coppola
>sandler's longest yard is better than the original
>clive owen would've been a better bond than craig
I agree with these 100%
>sandler's longest yard is better than the original
I'll go one step further and say Sandler has one of the most solid filmogs of the last 30 years
i just wish he'd done collateral instead of spanglish
Cruise and Foxx > De Niro and Sandler
Sandler as the killer and Foxx as the driver would've been kino though
i'm ambivalent about crowe v cruise for vincent. cruise played vincent's nihilism with an almost spiteful intensity whereas i imagine crowe's would've been a more resigned and apathetic doomer

Tony > Ridley Scott
the action genre would be in a much better place right now if it weren’t for Tony’s death
>The Big Lebowski sucks
>Jack Black is not funny
>Eraserhead is horrible
