    Mr. Deeds came at the end of Sandler-mania and most people were tired of his style of comedy.

      This was better than I expected. Lot of big personalities for the main characters (I hardly ever like Jack Black in stuff, Owen Wilson too to an extent) but it's more understated than you'd expect and has a clear heartwarming message at its heart. Like the other anon said, very comfy.

      I loved it until I read the book and realized it was way better. Still an underrated flick regardles.
      They did a good job in some areas, but the "same actor different makeup" gimmick didn't always work and changing the last line to be different from the kino that the book used was dumb.

      I loved the 2017 film, really like how Scarlett acted like a doll. It wasn't as deep as the 95 masterpiece but enjoyable all the same. Also really liked Arise and Sac_2045. Only Ghost in the Shell thing I dislike is the 2.0 version and every manga after that original.

    I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. Never got the hate, it was funny as shit and I thought it had a nice message. My friends and I still quote it to this day.

    This was the first Adam Sandler movie I didn't like as a kid. It's like Mr Deeds marks a turning point from Sandlers classic comedies to the less inspired movies he'd make for the rest of his career

    Don't worry, it's completely ironic. It's one of the most hilariously terrible movies I've ever seen, and I always have a ton of fun watching it, but most people just seem to hate it so much that they don't find any humor in it at all.

    Easily Pauly Shore's best movie.
    Don't get me wrong, Biodome and Encino Man are good.
