TV would say Green Lantern, since he's definitely a movie worth character
>TV would say Green Lantern, since he's definitely a movie worth character
LOL Green Lantern is barely worth being an animated character.
This.
Hal Jordan is legit the token white guy and an unlikable unfun b***h of a man in every single appearance.
And the GL mythos being taken super serious as it is in the comics is why it will never ever work.
You have two choices with gl.
TMNT with the four male lanterns all playing a role as Co leads.
John as the space hero lead with Hal as thebfallen(and for good reason) as parallax. Hamm has to play parallax jordan
Young Justice is already gone anon Gregg upset Zaslav with his tweets
Show proof.
Young Justice revival is the biggest monkey paw I've ever witnessed
Tiny Toons is taking that title
They should make Harley Quinn a tax write off
All the TV shows except Peacemaker will get shelved and Zatanna will be the only movie that'll also get shelved.
All of it.
please god let them kill titans. That show is a abomination.
have a nice day you racist shit
I tried to stick with Titans but just couldn't. Too dark and lame.
>winning time is safe
whew
Oooohhh new Curb??
Couldn't Peacemaker be moved to HBO? Since Gunn is involved with it
Yeah it could. It was one of the shows people actually watched. Max is full of expensive crap that gets less views than a One Piece YouTube channel
As is the case with a lot of streaming services which is ultimately their downfall. None of them realised they'd need consistent, new, original content to drive subscribers. And its expensive to make all of that.
Netflix could do it as they'd just get other companies to do it. Now nobody can do that as they're all in competition with their individual streaming services. They've fricked it.
When was this chart made? Gunn claimed that it was still a go:

That seems more than acceptable honestly.
3 complete seasons is pretty acceptable for Harley Quinn of all people. Hell the finale of last season would have been fine for an ending. This season and any that may potentially come after is just a victory lap.
Yeah. I think Doom Patrol deserves a final season as they just actually became the Doom Patrol.

Dead
They've spent like 300 million on the Flash, I don't see them killing it outright.
They haven’t even marketed it yet, how much should they continue to spend on it? Remember, theaters average 50% gross. What number is a good return for movie that will be approaching a decade in development by the time it releases?
If Flash gets released (and that's a pretty big 'if' right now) I can see people going to see it because they heard of Miller and all that nonsense. That story's probably more interesting than the movie, we all know it's just going to be 180 minutes of Barry Allan as played by Millennial Woody Alan
I think it all depends on Ezra's fate.
TV:
literally none of it
Movies are going to be fine you fricking moron. If they were heading to theaters and had a big budget they're going to theaters.
I can see Peacemaker maybe making it. That first season got them frickloads of goodwill and everyone was talking about the opening credits, if nothing else. Anything past that is up in the air.
Doom Patrol, I'm amazed it made it past the pilot episode, every season's been a mad fever dream. It's exactly the kind of show streaming was made for - too weird to pick up a steady TV-viewing fanbase, but different enough to get a devoted and loyal online fandom, so it's fricked.
Our Flag has also been ridiculously popular and, again, has an insanely devoted following. That one could honestly go either way.
Harley is probably one of the most popular HBO Max shows they have. I can see them keeping it, if only because merch sales have been good.
Movies, I can see being delayed for at least a few months. I'm thinking Aquaman 2 at least will be delayed til Octoberish, same with Shazam 2. Black Adam will probably just play in cinemas for a week or two before coming out on streaming. I don't think we'll see anything new be announced until the end of the year though.
>Movies are going to be fine you fricking moron. If they were heading to theaters and had a big budget they're going to theaters.
So I'm guessing this is the first time you're hearing about the Batgirl movie then?

Green Lantern TV show in production
Blue Beetle (Currently early filming)
Zatanna (Pre production)
Remember, Batgirl got cancelled because it was too low-budget for a WB theatrical release, but too high-budget to put on Netflix. They take a huge loss by finishing a film and not recouping any of the cost through releasing it, but they figure that is a smaller loss than spending all that money on advertising.
Black Adam and The Flash… they've probably spent enough on them now that not releasing would cost them a lot more than releasing.
Idk, the man said “anything scripted is gone” on HBOmax. I think it’s way more than you hope.
Green Lantern has already been scrapped and the Blue Beetle director liked a tweet calling the new heads morons so eecpect that to be scrapped
>Green Lantern TV show in production
Canceled, character reworked into movies.
>Titans
Black lead, canceled.
>Young Justice
Woke to the extreme, canceled.
>Doom Patrol
Gays everywhere, canceled.
>Peacemaker
White lead, but the showrunner is a woke groomer. On the fence.
>Harley Quinn
Lesbians, canceled.
>The Flash (Currently on hiatus)
Lead makes the libs seethe, sequel greenlit.
>Aquaman (Post production)
Remains on schedule, Amber Heard tracks well with conservative females.
>Shazam (Post production)
Literally who, shelve it.
>Black Adam (Ready to be released)
Token release, minimal advertising, hope everyone forgets.
>Blue Beetle (Currently early filming)
Literally who, canceled.
>Zatanna (Pre production)
Can't market a female superhero, cancel it.
this Zaslav fella sounds based
He isn't, he only likes to make reality tv shit
Cringe
Think again.
I hate how Doom Patrol went with the gay route. I know it was based on the Morrison run but I love the Drake's og version. The family vibe is way better.
I'm curious about Hellblazer/Constantine, Justice League Dark and Stargirl, though the last one is actually from CW.
Save: all the movies except for BB and Zatanna
Peacemaker (maybe)
Everything else is put down faster than a 25 year old dog with leukemia
What about Stargirl and Supes and Lois?
>Stargirl
Really the only one I care about, and it sounds like it's getting axed with the rest. Frick this shit; we're losing one of the only soulful superhero shows.
Stargirl will probably be ok. It's on CW. It's not a Max Original. It's also relatively inexpensive and well liked.
Honestly both of those are probably dead if only because all the other CW DC shows are dead and Zaslav seems to want to strengthen the DCEU by trimming off a bunch of fat and make them big blockbuster events.
Gunn already confirmed Peacemaker would be getting a second Season. The other shoes might be fricked tho.
The crew for the scoob movie did a stream this week and it didn't save them
>the crew announced tiny toons reboot at comic con
>it's not saving them
ALL of it is canceled. For more Shark Week and Deadliest Catch.
I don't know
Definitely anything JJ Abrams related. He ticked off WB after they spent 200 million on him to make DC Projects and he didn’t deliver.
It wasn't just his DC projects but also that sci-fi show he was going to do for HBO, which he signed in 2018 (before he got the DC deal a year later)
He wanted $200 million for that show's first season and it was in "early pre-production" state for four years until it got canned in June this year.

Hopefully Bendis’s Legion show.
Peacemaker, Harley Quinn and Titans will survive. Every other show is fricked. I don't know why people watch Titans but it's the most popular of the bunch
Every Titans fan I know only likes the cast and shits endlessly on the writing and production quality. I cannot believe DC ever trusted Johns to lead their DC division
Doesn't matter. they still watch it
As one of those Titans fans, it's my emotional support (shit)show tbh. I love the cast to bits. The writing could use so much work though.
>no Batgirl
>Will Smith cancelled for the slap so no Deadshot
>No Batman crossovers
>No Superman news
>Captain Boomerang never fights Flash
>Slipknot and Weasel never meet Firestorm
>Shazam fury of the gods without Wonder Woman or Aquaman
>Flash will be fired
What exactly is DC endgame?
I thought they considered Batman and Superman box office poison and went for never been in movies superheroes like Aquaman and Birds of Prey.
But now they're trying to return to a shitty solo universes of heroes.
The Batman was just Punisher Max for people that don't knoe Batman and no one will like Flashpoint for the controversies
Aquaman is profitable and in post-production so that and Black Adam are the only safe bets
It's all going into teen titans go and maybe a batman project or two
Green Lantern, Titans, and Young Justice are the only ones that actually deserve it. I still can't believe Stargirl got CW'd while Titans got 3 fricking seasons from Max.
All those shows and moves getting axed so my boy Swamp Thing will get season 2, right?

That’s never how downsizing works, Anon. It’s all about what the specific suit prefers to keep and gutting everything else. And we already know what Zaslav doesn’t like (scripted media)
>Sure Peacemaker got fewer viewers than Ms. Marvel aka the massive Disney+ flop but it's safe because I like the quirky dance intro.
Boy are you losers in for a shock in a few hours
It's cheap as chops to make and is liked by m8ddle America.
It and the titans show are safe.
TTGO for the kids Titans when they turn teen.
>It's cheap as chops to make and is liked by m8ddle America.
Neither of these are true.

Reshot and changed to a kingdom come meets crisis type event. Ezra dies all heroically and is replaced with ginger wally.
>Aquaman (Post production.)
Reshot with aflek and without Mera. Dies to black manta.
>Shazam (Post production)
Reshot so it becomes a soft intro to kids superhero stuff.
>Black Adam (Ready to be released)
Safe. Soft JSA intro. Will be pushed back and expanded further.
Have Shazam show up and batman and aquaman appear.
>Blue Beetle (Currently early filming)
Will probably be ended and rolled into Shazam or black adam/jsa
>Zatanna (Pre production)
JSA along with green arrow who'll be played by the guy from the show.
>ginger wally
swap the first 'g' and 'n'
Nah
He'll be ginger. Zaslav is going full scorched earth on the creeps who run things behind the scenes.
The replace soulless gingers with Black folk joke is done.
Netflix owns the rights of Titans internationally and it's a success afaik. That one is probably surviving.
Just a guess.

I think unless Ezra kills someone they're not shelving The Flash movie
according to the newest article WB has known about the fact that's he's coo-coo nutso for a long time and tried to stage an intervention but changed their mind for some reason
and then they invited the injun girl to WB studios at the end of May when Ezra was there recording stuff for the movie
so they know about all this stuff, I wonder what their end game is
Ezra is bad press.
Shelving Batgirl but keeping Ezra and the movie coming out?
TV:
>Green Lantern
dead, gonna be back in movies instead
>Titans
safe for at least one more season
>Young Justice
it would be a mercy killing
>Doom Patrol
I really hope it survives, but my gut tells me it won't make it
>Peacemaker
confirmed safe
>Harley Quinn
3 seasons is a pretty good run for a comedy cartoon, but keeping the big bang girl employed and happy with HBO would probably be worth another season of it, but animation is costly so it could be a toss up
Most of the movies, besides Zatanna and possibly Blue Beetle, are safe. I say BB because it suffers from the same cycle as Batgirl- announced as a Streaming movie, then moved up to theater release so won't have the budget to stand shoulder to shoulder with other tentpole movies.
I'm sure we're gonna hear about something happening with the Flash movie before too long. We could be looking at a complete overhaul instead of an outright reboot where WBD is picking and choosing which components of the DCEU to keep and which they wanna just move away from to keep the brand prestigious or w/e their goal is
Lantern
>dead, gonna be back in movies instead
Green Lantern will never be a thing.
Your dull token white guy and ridiculous ass over serious magic space ring is done.
And stop letting Geoff John's write.
its moving to the movies with John Stewart as GL still. I agree with your second point.
