I honestly should have known better. I dont watch trailers and expected a bloody survival film with "some" woke moments. Instead I got 2 hours of "WOMEN ARE CAPABLE TOO" with some cutesy dog scenes and thick as hell plot armor.
The good:
>no grey filter, great colors
>the locations looked very well selected
>costumes and props looked well made
>actors all look like Indian-Americans or at least part Indian-American
>the design of the predator with new gadgets was fun
The bad:

Quite liked the first two commanche dudes getting a bunch of good hits on the Pred before dying. Its what youd expect from warriors who have been fighting theyre whole lives.
Also liked the pred being a lot more brutal and "im just gonna frick shit up as quickly as possible" style and not stealthy sneaky sneak single kills. It was like a moron downy pred that didnt know its own capabilities and goes consistently wounded throught most fights as a result.

In "Predators" (2010). There are regular preds and "bigger" ones with different face types. They appear to be in a type of war between each other. They are described as "more aggressive".
They are a subspecies that prefer hunting without as many of the technological bullshit the normal predators use, using traps and actually tracking and while they are more brutal and don't like the normal predators they make the hunts far more even by giving those they hunt time to prepare and even giving them weapons
