I think they're remaking some things like backgrounds, voicelines, the characters' name, etc due to the HUGE backlash that the series got some months ago.
Oh and recast the voice actor of the protagonist because i'm pretty sure the original one got fired after they made the series have a worse image that it has at the beggining.

When I first saw this knowing nothing of the show, I just assumed it was a group of friends with some of them being related, because I also don't know a lick of spanish.
Finding out they are ALL cousins is so weird.

I have completely lost track of how many second cousins I got.
All of South and Central America was clowning on the show when it was announced from the horrible theme song, stereotypes, and the response one of the crew members made on Instagram that called Spanish a colonizer language and mispronouncing it is reappropriating it.
