Yeah the Hoover Dam part is the weakest point. It's one of the touristy things you do though if you're not drinking or gambling in Vegas. The actual tour is alright though, I always think of Beavis and Butthead Do America when Beavis says "is this a God dam?" To no laughter or attention.

Is the Vacation remake canon?
Vegas is extremely underrated and probably has the most memorable lines. However the whole moment at the Hoover Dam was stupid and not funny.
