I am sure many are. But I haven't seen any Superman mvoies, nor some other popular ones like the Godfather or most of the Marvel movies. Just because its popular or well known doesnt necessarily mean everyone's seen it. Shoot, I know poeple who haven't seen any Star Wars movies and you know how popular those are. How many have seen Phantasm? Probably not as many as Superman, but I wouldnt be surprised if someone saw Phantasm but not Superman since I am like that. We all have our own interests.

Not that unrealistic, I’ve only watched this movie one time and it’s because my grandpa wanted me to to watch it with him.
It really depends. I didn't watch a lot of popular movies like Terminator and Aliens when I was kid because my parents wouldn't let me watch them so I had to watch them a lot later, but I do find it hard to believe that people who are now in the 30s and 40s haven't seen a family friendly movies like the Superman series before. It's still possible, but pretty unlikely. Even then they would quickly run out of content because while they may not have see one popular movie, but there's still tons of other popular movies they've undoubtedly seen.
That woman for instance is probably approaching 40 years old and it's extremely unlikely that she hasn't seen Superman before. Or at least admit it that they probably have seen the movies before, but they don't remember anything about them. I watch movies that I haven't seen in forever and it's just like watching them for the first time.
I've never seen the Reeve's Superman series because it looks corny as frick and I'm not interested at all.

Im 33 and have never seen a single superman movie (including the latest ones like man of steel etc)

Don't underestimate today's kids. They really haven't seen a lot. It's not like in my days when we actually took care of our cinematic education, and watched a lot of classics one by one most of which were made before we were born.
But I know there are a lot of react channels that are like "First time hearing Smells Like Teen Spirit" and I have my doubts.
Most of these are millennial women Zoomers don't even watch movies I think. They just think movies are those things with the superheros that show up on netflix.
