i've been trying to find a series of YTPs of Ed, Edd n' Eddy
one was of the episode "It Came from Outer Ed", another was of "Once Upon an Ed", another was "Wish You Were Ed", and I recall 2 others including "Luck of the Ed", and the guy did YTPs of AVGN, Rocko's Modern Life (episode "Wacky Delly"), DuckTales (can't remember the episode name, it was one where they were working on a car at some point I think), SpongeBob SquarePants (episode "Pressure"), Aqua Teen Hunger Force (4th episode, the one with the moonites), and did recursive YTPs of YTPs such as Toyz Gone Wild

From one source (the Nick wiki), a major reason Dan Danger didn't get off the ground was that kids in focus groups didn't like Dan constantly being scared, going against Butch's idea of each installment being about Dan conquering one of his fears. If it was to be that each installment was to be Dan conquering a fear, I feel it was the correct choice to not make the shorts a full-on show (I just don't see how such a show wouldn't get tiring real quick without expanding things beyond the plot formula).
The shorts were made for the last season of OYC! along with the last few FOP shorts and it shows that Dan Danger looks exactly like the OYC FOP shorts stylistically.
Yeah, sounds like it didn't work mostly cause of Butch's inability to expand anything beyond their basic premise (why FOP and DP were handled by a team of writers instead).
