80 20 rule. 80% of the work is done by 20% of the employees. This applies literally everywhere. The do nothing shitters shid and farded themselves out of a job. The real workers are currently celebrating and getting shitfaced at their desk because the trannies are gone. But the do nothing shitters are big mad about it and think they're more important than they were so now they're embarrassingly trying to convince everyone twitter is about to blow up.

Twitter and Reddit aren’t news sources. They’re narrative sources.

The difficulty you’re having understanding or meaningfully responding to anything I say is in how I don’t accept narratives without information, and then don’t defend them against conflicting information. For I need more than a screaming mob to generate an opinion on something.

It's true that Twitter and Reddit allow you to add narrative. 150 characters, or a post title can help you frame a link to a news source differently. But I don't think anyone would just see a tweet with no source, or a self post without a link making an assertion with no evidence and consider that news.

Reminder that Twitter isn't dying and moron employees who were paid to do absolutely fricking nothing under the old regime that were later fired started all this. There really isn't a single shred of evidence that Twitter is dead/dying.

It's a well documented troony (leftist) argument strategy. It's telling that of all the homosexuals in this thread, maybe one of them was able to clearly articulate why they don't like Musk. The rest either don't know why they hate him because it's what their in-group on Twitter/discord/cable news has decided or because they're too cowardly to actually say it on an anonymous image board where the worst retort possible is someone calling you a homosexual, troony or leftist because, like the Goebbels quote about israelites, their greatest fear is to be found out and called what they actually are.

Maybe I don't have brain rot from id politics and I can despise both twitter trannies AND a fricking moron who hates workers' rights and believes sacking 75% of the workforce, asking the remaining 25% to pull 80 hours work weeks, while removing work from home? How do we know he only fired the troony moderators?

I can sympathize because I fricking work full time and I have benefits and arrangements that make my work easier, if my CEO suddenly changed and they forced me to go into the office, slashed all my colleagues and forced me to work 80 hours a week I wouldn't like that either, I don't enjoy this kind of absurd zero sum work market.

The other reason is because Musk with its shitty tesla is helping governments push bans on petrol cars, and I enjoy driving my car and having access to the second hand market.

The only reason a twitter employee suddenly cares about “the workers” is because their mindless/effortless job is being threatened, and they’re terrified of having to get a real job.

To be fair I don't feel sorry for the twitter trannies, but I don't like the idea of zero sum management becoming widespread either.
For example removing free lunch, that shit is purely out of spite or some misplaced "muh bootstraps" mentality.

The company I work is not that big, it makes $8 billions a year, and yet I get £10 for my lunch every day if I choose to work in the office, or I can stay home, cook my stuff(which is what I do) and still save. That's because my job can be done at home, managing projects and implementing solutions is not something that requires me to be in a physical building. So while I'm not a "moderator" or one of those Twitter managers who did jackshit, I still don't like the idea of Musk management. I also get private health insurance coverage and other benefits, which is why I keep working here. The moment they try to treat me like some illegal alien working in a restaurant I'm out.

To be fair, you still sound like a twitter employee.

              >Firing a bunch of useless people
Not so useless considering now that there's no moderators around people can impersonate big business and it's actively losing Twitter's money, or at the very least tanking its stocks value. Again, if his purpose was to tank Twitter I'm perfectly fine with it. The smart way would have been to change company values, implement training to do that and remove only the ~~*trends curators*~~ and the screeching blue hairs. I don't believe they were 70% of Twitter's workforce.

The free lunch is literally cynical shit they use to bribe women and sois into accepting lower pay, rather than going somewhere else, because the office is more "comfortable".

Due to absurd tax brackets in England, lunch at work is actually something really saves you money because it potentially adds up to £2200 a year(£10 a day per 21 working days). So instead of having £2200 more on my yearly salary taxed at 40%+National insurance, I can actually enjoy it net when eating at work. I don't get to actually do that because I eat at home and spend waaaayyy less than that for my lunches, but it's not so bad. Also it's not like he gave them an equivalent salary raise, he simply slashed a benefit.

Otherwise there's controlled markets like some EU or South American countries, but they tend to simply not work, or when they work(Germany), their leaders swamp them with illegals to drive wages down.
Still don't like the idea of the authoritarian CEO manhandling the working environment of his own company with no discernible benefits.
