How much of a frick up do you have to be to be the tenant to a landlord that is a foreigner to your own country? Honestly, if you don't own your own place by the time you're 21 then it's over
Please link to a specific home that you think a college student should buy. Also name the 4 year university that that student would be attending.

The funny thing is that I bought my first home in my mid 20s, but I also know I had advantages that most people my age didn't, some of which I chose (VA loan), some of which I didn't (an aptitude for software engineering where they just throw money at you if you are good).

I live in a first world country where I don't have to worry about such things, usually grants from the government to supply people with the deposit for their first home

have any of guys experienced an actual, hardworking, good, moral landlord in your life? serious question. i had only one, a little midget, easy going French dude when i moved into my first apartment over a decade ago and he had a heart attack like 9 months into my agreement, RIP.
Exactly the same here, mostly had companies who owned the building and acted as the landlords, always left me alone and were pretty good at fixing any issues I had. The one time I had a personal landlord it was awful, never fixed anything that needed fixing and when I moved out he wrote to the company that held the deposit and asked that they refuse to give it back to me due to the condition I left the place in, which was bullshit. I disputed the claim and the landlord never appealed so I managed to get it back in the end, piece of shit was just hoping I wouldn't fight for it

I mostly get corporate landlords. My one experience with a small landlord was kind of shit.

I decided to buy multiple properties and become a landlord instead of completing college.
