The first Pokemon movie was pure kino. I've watched only a few other Pokemon movies after the first one and they were okay but not as good as the first one. I legit almost cried when Ash got turned to stone when I watched the first Pokemon movie back in 1999. I was only 11 at the time. I almost can't believe that was 25 fricking years ago. Good times. We'll never get it back.
2000 with Lugia. I rewatched the first few movies recently and the second absolutely kicks ass. It legit has terrific animation with the three legendary birds and Lugia all flying around fighting one another. The story is also the best. Sure its a vintage “chosen one” prophecy thing but its own internal stuff entirely makes sense unlike the dumb “pokemon cry and ash is revivified” BS that comes out of no where. Far less cringe.
yeah heroes was kino as frick but the waifu latiashomosexuals are insufferable and sadly that's the only reason people talk about that movie.
secret of the unown is great as well
Reminder to watch the Japanese version of the first movie. The English version cut some scenes that gives more context to Mewtwo's human hate, and explains who the frick the Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise clones are based off of.
the first one is pretty kino
also, detective pikachu is cool
>detective pikachu is cool
it's garbage
My kids liked it, maybe you've outgrown the franchise of colorful cartoon animals.
your kids have trash taste and so do you
>poketroony mad
YWNBAW
wtf are you talking about moron
Yeh but I bet that guy's pokemon team can beat your kids'.
This is the true test of love. Will you still defend your kids when their poke battle skills are lacking?
Was 10/10 childhood kino same with Mario movie
It created an interesting universe just had a shit story.
I watched them recently. Latios/Latias movie isnt bad, and Destiny Deoxys was actually a fun watch. The rest are pretty dumb.
Yeah, the first one
First five.

When I was a child it was all of them; now that I am way past 20, it is none of them.

My man!
More important question, will gamefreak ever make a game as good as Pokemon Unbound?
they're all good
Pokémon is a shitty dragon ball rip off and mewtoo is just frieza
Yeah, the one where they gave away the ancient mew cards at the theatre. Pokemon 2000 I think?
Nvm I was thinking Mew vs Mewtwo, the first Pokemon movie.
Detective Pikachu is good if you don't mind the ugly black lead
why does Mewtwo have a carry on strap attached to the back of his head.
mewtwo and 2000 were good. is that tube that connects his upper back to the back of his head a 2nd spine?
All the ones with the original English VAs are watchable. The only truly good ones are 1-3.
entei movie was good too
I liked Heroes. The Venice-inspired setting was very pleasant to look at.
yeah heroes was kino as frick but the waifu latiashomosexuals are insufferable and sadly that's the only reason people talk about that movie.
secret of the unown is great as well
The one with Lucario was cool.
pokemon was never good, thats why they kept making new ones
No, they all suck. I got the urge to watch the original Japanese versions of the first few a couple years ago and they're all paced like shit.
Only the hentais
Yes, the first three and movie 10 just for the general atmosphere.
Movie 3 was Dan Green kino
Retrospectively speaking, there's never been a Pokémon movie
Imagine being Ash and not smashing this b***hy piece of ass.
I fricking hate how I've jerked off 1,000's of times to misty cosplay
I can't believe my parents let me watch her. Tummy and thighs was too much for my adolescent Christian brain.
she is 10 you pedo
Yeah, and so was Ash.
> she's been 10 for the past 20 years
Sure, and I bet that vampire really is 1,000 years old in a kid's body.
According to the original showrunner, 10 year olds are legal adults in the Pokemon universe.
Japan is just different
