he design is fricking awful but you guys have to see what they were going for here right? Copying Grevious' ability. No one else but a droid (or in this case, what, an android?) can do that. But the producers clearly think that reverberated with the fans because they keep trying to bring it back. It WAS kinda cool when Grevious did it, in that it at least showed what a non human would be capable of with swords, its intimidating.
To be clear I think Nuwars sucks ass I'm just giving my opinion on why they made these homosexual design.
I appreciate that they at least remained consistent. It would have been extra weird if they didn't have their roflcopter blades in this series after establishing them in rebels.
Having silly looking spinny lightsabers ala Grievous is one thing, it's dumb but nobody would really care that much. Having them literally fly around with them is utterly moronic and completely unforgivable. I'm aware of why they do the things they do, but I will not accept that as an excuse.
They make Vader less cool. Instead of him going out and singlehandedly hunting Jedi, he now has aliens and other lackies go out and do it for him.

The design is dumb and should have never been put on screen much less as merch. Then there is attaching the saber to the character "Reva". The prototype's blades sag when both are connected.
