I was complaining since season 1 that the side characters are too boring and nihilistic and I was complaining about the pacing/story structure and how it should take more cues from 90s and 2000s shows that manage to shove so much content in just 10 minutes. Kids Next Door has so much content in one episode.

I wouldn't recommend the show to people who weren't already invested, I'm mostly here to see where they're going with this. The constant not clever 4th wall breaking and pointing out story beats is really starting to bug the frick out of me.
Yea I think its a bit better then the last two seasons. But unlike those seasons that had like 2 or 3 episodes that I thought were really great. This season has been all mostly ok episodes.
I would maybe take a couple bad episodes if it means getting another Rattlestar Ricklactica or Mortyplicity.
Kinda unrelated to the new ep, but after watching solar opposites' halloween special and rewatching a bit of r&m season 1, I find myself lamenting mr needful was a one-off character instead of rick's recurring enemy/nemesis. They have opposite color schemes, a nice science vs magic deal going on, they could have one-upped each other. Kinda wish he had been a recurring villain.
Only the most whiny selfish fricks could be unhappy with literal zero scarcity and everyone having 100% freetime.
