She also says that Galadriel finds out she is both right and wrong about this perception and that this is something her character finds very difficult to accept.

The Golden Age arc is widely considered the best arc in Berserk and one of the greatest of all time.

It is only stated in one version of events that during the kinslaying of Alqualonde that she fought against Feanor in defense of the Teleri.
This is not elaborated on anywhere, and doesn't really make any sense. In another version the host of Fingolfin (which she is a part of) joins the host of Feanor in attacking the Teleri because they believe the Teleri tried to stop them. Galadriel then continues onward with the host of Fingolfin into exile over Helacarxe, the grinding ice, despite her own father turning back at this point because of the horror of the kinslaying.
This doesn't make much sense and is contradictory, which is okay, because Tolkien was writing a mythical book of legends, not a history book, of events that took place ten thousand years before the events of LotR, and no one really remembers what happened.
Tolkien specifically singled out Galadriel as being one of the main actors in the rebellion. In some versions the Valar even place a personal ban in her returning to Valinor that lasts until she refuses the ring from Frodo.
The reason is she gets extra punishment because she's one of the ring leaders.
She didn't just join Fingolfins army, she helped lead it

She did, she lived there with Finrod for quite some time.
The rest of your point is more to do with Galadriels character being invented after those stories had been written. Tolkien didn't want to rewrite them so the characters are not included except in relatively simple ways. This was the same for pretty much all other characters he created later on in his writing career, like Celebrimbor for eg. Not much is said about him in the 1st age yet he's a very important elf.

Also her movements after chilling in Doriath with Melian are contradictory, some versions she leaves Beleriand after the destruction of Doriath and others she's still there until after the war of wrath.
She's probably the hardest character to pin down exactly what she got up to, just a range of published options and then huge gaps in-between the big events.
