Rings of Power on Amazon Prime is getting closer and closer to it's September 2nd debut. I know we like to joke around here, but I'm honestly kind of excited. There's always some hesitation with a new adaptation, but the response from fans to every early screening is overwhelmingly positive, and Amazon is obviously fully behind the series. If (or when) this succeeds, we might even get more adaptations and extensions of Tolkien's work, which would be incredible.

I was worried at first as well, but the dialogue we have so far is actually really good, and the reception to early screening among fans is universally positive. There's a lot of room for optimism with this show.
