>Strike gold nearly every Christmas Special >People only recall Mad Monster Party for the titty monster and nothing else >People don't even know Mad Mad Mad Monsters exists despite the literal titty monster
They run an Animation company not an animation charity
You'd probably be better off commissioning an artist (like the ones who make custom action figures, etc.) to create one for you. If you're an artist yourself, you might be able to kitbash one and come up with something that's pretty close.
>Sadly, a lot of the puppets/figurines used in Rankin/Bass specials no longer exist--they were often given away to employees and also covered with a spray that prevented them from reflecting during filming, which caused their already delicate, flexible body parts to break down. Jules Bass explained that while some recreations do exist, the average lifespan of a real Animagic figure was typically only 6 months.
Its incredible how much Mad Magazine influence these movies have. Harvey Kurtzman, Jack Davis, Paul Coker Jr. Mad Monster Party? feels like it was pulled straight from Mad
so did the jap studio ever make their own stop motion for japanese audiences? surely whatever rankin bass was paying them for a single annual special wasnt enough to sustain a whole studio?
someone get those lost media boys to sniff up some stop motion oni or kawaii uguu waifus
The Japanese stop motion director did a lot of commercials before getting the original Rudolph gig and I imagine that was paying some of the bills beyond the Rankin Bass projects.
youd think if he kept doing commercials for the 25 years his studio worked with rankin bass itd be somewhat easy to find online
but his studio is hard to google
Good movie
why did RB shit out a couple dozen christmas specials but only tried to tackle halloween twice?
Halloween wasn't as huge back then

maybe they shouldve brought their A-game to halloween
was the nerd a robot in the end?
I only knew he died due to rule 34.
>the mumm doesn't do shit to anyone
>dies in the explosion in the end
What the fuck?
She needs more fanart. Francesca is Jessica Rabbit before Jessica Rabbit.
what happened to the old Rankin/Bass figures?
A jar was involved. Jessica Claus and Francesca got to share one.
Im not saying I want to hot glue the figures
I would just like to know if they ever had an auction for them? its a totally innocent question
Either sold to private collectors or deteriorated over time and broke down.

dang that's a let down.
yeah
but statistically if any of them still do exist theyre most likely from the most recent RB production
which happens to be the coolest one of all
Life and times of santa?
>Francesca is Jessica Rabbit before Jessica Rabbit.
So fuckugly?
Bruce Timm's women all start as Francesca...
Remember kids, if a girl doesn’t like you, smack her right in the face. Her panties will be MOIST.
DAYUM!
WOW
Must've been quite a sight seeing a female cartoon character in their underwear back then
I didn't not care for the songs in this but overall I still enjoy Mad Monster Party?
Its incredible how much Mad Magazine influence these movies have. Harvey Kurtzman, Jack Davis, Paul Coker Jr. Mad Monster Party? feels like it was pulled straight from Mad
Maybe because Kurtzman and Davis did work on Mad Monster Party
Just finished watching this for the first time, pretty good I have to say definitely not like those holiday tv specials

Me and some guys watched it recently. Pretty funny movie. Kinda comfy. I drew Francesca
Cute
There is an official Francesca figure. It's really rare and commands huge prices.
nice that it comes with its own cum jar
>named francesca
>looks like francesca capaldi
Oh, so she as based off an irl-
>Francesca Capaldi is currently 18 years old
Anon...
>concept art for the film shows Francesca having giant butt instead of a massive bust.
How did the animators expect the puppet to stand up straight?
