Robert Valley isn't even underrated, so how come whenever I see animation discourse he never gets brought up?

It's when you can't talk about something because the only thing to say is that it's good.

Now that is a very cruel situation and a strange one as well. On the one hand it's good to know that most can agree it is good, but a pain to think there can't really be much discussion.

The Pear Cider and Cigarette short was pretty great, he's a surprisingly good narrator.

It was up for free for the longest time on YouTube, it must have recently reverted to being pay gated.

Well the style isn't really influenced by disney or john k and us proof you don't need to be only those two to succeed.

      This.
What people do not understand about Cinemaphile sometimes is that it is not a place of positivity and asskissing. Okay, the guy is good and talented and everyone who knows about him likes him. I liked Tron Uprising for example.
But what is there to discuss? "I liked him!" Okay? And? The thread dies there. This is why controversy always takes up more threads on Cinemaphile, because there's actually something to discuss and to criticize.

Simple they don't have haters or people who are dedicated to hate on their work

Seeing his two shows on Disney get snubbed like they did was infuriating. Especially Tron: Legacy, goddamn was that show good.
