yeah? Making OCs is what used to make this website great. Nowadays everything is a repost of a repost. Even if OP made something stupid, I respect him for making it if he did it.
The image is pretty true. I think that maturity is treating all reviews as paid shills and just enjoying things for yourself and making your own opinions on what you experienced
I think the real root of the issue is wanting more of the kinds of movies you like. Hollywood has evolved into a pretty efficient machine, so these ratings and the obsession over ticket sales is traced to a desire to see the things you like succeed and the things you dislike fail, so Hollywood will make more of the former and less if the latter. It’s pretty pathetic for it to be such a dominant topic here, but it’s a natural thing.
>new show goes live >within minutes of air time, thousands of 10/10 reviews going up >if there was a way to see where they came from, they would all come from china and india >one hour later, 0/10 contrarians start their own backlash, but they don't have the numbers of paid pajeet and bug shills >"lol guys did you hear about this new 9,5/10 show about zombies, everyone talks about it and says it's great."
After all those years of professional shitposting, i learned to completely ignore gays that claim something is perfect or complete trash and, may come as a surprise to some of you, form an opinion by myself.

What a homosexual. Reminder that by now almost everyone in this website, and almost certainly the person who posted this, came from reddit first. There was a time when reddit was obsessed with *us* and that’s why we made fun of it. Sad
>movie whether I like it or not >both critics and users like it
Generally at least around a 5/6 but maybe more >only users like it
Generally at least a 5/6, but not technically good >only critics like it
Generally at least a 5/6, but not interesting enough to captivate most >Neither like it
Generally less than a 5/6, but sometimes those films are fine as well
I only really use it when I'm trying to decide on which film to see in theaters after watching the trailers.

please fricking commit suicide in real life

>review score of someone 30+ who watched hundreds of films/read hundreds of books
has the same impact as >review score of some random 15 year old
nice democratic system they made

So what you're saying is that Rotten Tomatoes is pointless.

Nta but I agree

OP I respect you. I would suck you off If you asked me to, no cap and on god.
Imagine putting any stock whatsoever in rotten tomatoes. Has anyone read how it actually works?
yes

>you hate the things you hate
TAKE THAT BACK YOU FRICKING GORILLA Black person
The real version is that the critic score is always bullshit for every movie and is completely useless as a metric to decide to see it or not.
I often wonder what's it like to be the average Cinemaphile user. My opinions are always correct, I'd struggle to have bad opinions.
