I thought season 1 and 2 were great but 3 fell off a cliff. Not to sound like Doomwiener but KK and modern Lucasfilm had their fingerprints all over it

there's probably massive, massive drama backstage. The kind of drama books get written about long after it's over and the company has disintegrated. You can tell the story team did not take kindly to being upstaged by Favreau (and to a lesser extent Filoni) and a lot of the posts made here defending Disney Wars over the years have sounded more than a bit personally invested in the entire thing.
I wonder about this a lot. I would pay money to find out the tense conversations that have happened.
