what I don't like about this show is the guy hosting acts so smug for knowing shit they're reading from a card. I mean dude you just happen to be reading some facts from a card not like you know this shit by heart
that how most bongs are >I went though South America, Australia and Thailand during my school gap year, so yes I am very qualified to suggest solutions to complex geopolitical disputes
>Bill Bailey >Alan Davies >David Mitchell >Sean Lock >never ever again
Name your dream team, Cinemaphile
Frick this, the downgrade was so obvious afterwards. I'm also surprised QI hasn't memoryholed that moment when Jack Dee put down the women in the panel with a oneliner https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oy1NE2ypdkA
They pretty much advertised a special in a way that made people expect an actual episode. It was a shitty chat show with really bad, awkward sequences and Jimmy Carr bluntly insulting the cast. Not in a really funny way just making cast members who did not want to be there not want to be there even more. Watch it to see how bad it was.
Bill Bailey and Alan Davies make me smile
David Mitchell makes me a little bit angry because my mates keep telling me I look and sound like him
switch Sean Lock for someone funny like Rob Brydon

>Name your dream team, Cinemaphile >Rich Hall >Alan Davies >Stephen hosting >Greg Davies >Johnny Vegas
there are too many good options though, Vic and Bob, Ross Noble, Rhod Gilbert, Reggie D Hunter, John Bishop etc.
I just wish we could have a proper QI back, instead of these forced diverse panels. Give me a whole episode of women if I can have a whole episode of men afterward or something, but each one has to be equal every time it fricking sucks.
>wo' if God isn't real? >we should all believe in progressive stuff about sex! >blimey, even though 5% of Britons go to church, and irreligious progressives dominate the media, academia and large corporations, I'm really stickin it to the Establishment by saying this stuff!
Another job well done in the day of a British comedian
It's truly amazing how many panel shows they destroyed with the mandates for quotas nobody wanted.
A female comedian basically has tenure because theres so few of them and doesn't even have to be funny they're going to get work anyway so everyone else can get work.
Even before the women however it was all so tame and restrained, from what i remember most of them belong to the same 2 agencies and they shackle the frick out of them in terms of content. Plus a lot of them are actually middle class wankers who all knew eachother from the same schools, its as if the role of clown suddenly gained prestige at some point.
>It's truly amazing how many panel shows they destroyed with the mandates for quotas nobody wanted.
it is a fool's errand. a thousand empires shall fall with every ozymandian statue cast back to the earth, and women will still never be funny
>gooooooood evening good evening >tonight's topics are a focus on me, Stephen Fry, if you would believe it! >subtopics include "My lover who looks 40 years young than I"
>"my play I wrote about pedophilia" and finally
>"the culture of coverup at the British Broadcasting Corporation"
>subtopics include "My lover who looks 40 years young than I"
This making people like you seethe will never stop being funny. Fry is like 60 and his husband is 30 or something? The age difference is obviously fricking weird, but it does not make him a pedophile.
Sandi is not the problem. Honestly think she was one of the better choices to replace Stephen.
The problem is there is always at least 2 shit guests on every show now. Even when they get a good classic guest on like Bill Bailey, David Mitchel etc they get drowned out by 2 other unfunny comedy vacuums on the panel.
We all know why this happened too.
my biggest problem with panel shows now is I can pretty much guess to 90% accuracy what every single joke will be "le boris johnson bad, racists bad, immigrants on boats good" it's so boring.
You don't get on telly if you don't agree, Anon.
Can you think of a single woman on UK telly who isn't also a feminist?
If you don't toe the line and agree, you don't have a TV career. Meanwhile, "diversity" reigns.
It makes no sense.
Le quirky short-haired lez gets old quick, and on the great British baking show or w.e she wasn't even the first one and neither of them were funny so the first lady had already worn out all the welcome. This little blob is annoying AF and I'm sure I'll absolutely love her personal politics.
>2014: BBC policy is that every episode must have at least one female member on the panel >2016: At least two women per episode >2019: At least half of the guests must be female (3/5 including host) >2022: Alan is the only male allowed on the show and each episode he must do a 5 minute piece to camera about how men (specifically white men) and the patriarchy are evil concepts and must be destroyed
I think Sandi is actually as good of a follow-up to Fry as you could hope for
The problem is how shit nearly all British "comedians" under 40 are; go watch a clip from mock the week 10-15 years ago and watch one new and see just how unfunny the average comedian has become
I wanted to like her because she was always so good as a panellist but it just isn't the same show, QI to me is a bygone era.
Wasn't even that good as a panelist, never cared for her shrill interjections that usually had feminist talking points.
Sandi is fine, a fact which I hate to admit
it's the rest of the show that sucks now, and which already sucked for a bit of Fry's reign
yea this.
British panel shows died the moment the bbc introduced their compulsory woman rule.
>not just leaving when Steven did
Feel bad for you mate
what I don't like about this show is the guy hosting acts so smug for knowing shit they're reading from a card. I mean dude you just happen to be reading some facts from a card not like you know this shit by heart
that how most bongs are
>I went though South America, Australia and Thailand during my school gap year, so yes I am very qualified to suggest solutions to complex geopolitical disputes
This show was always bad. Stephen Fry is a pseud.
all panel shows went down the toilet when it was made mandatory to have atleast one female guest
>Bill Bailey
>Alan Davies
>David Mitchell
>Sean Lock

Frick this, the downgrade was so obvious afterwards. I'm also surprised QI hasn't memoryholed that moment when Jack Dee put down the women in the panel with a oneliner https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oy1NE2ypdkA
>>Sean Lock
wow fricking hell those women were insufferable
Drop Sean Lock for Jimmy Carr or Rob Brydon
>Jimmy Carr
such a b***h Black person he demanded questions beforehand
I honestly hope this dead eyed homosexual get AIDS
>Jimmy Carr
he will never be forgiven for the Inbetweener special
I love the Inbetweeners but never heard of this
QRD?
They pretty much advertised a special in a way that made people expect an actual episode. It was a shitty chat show with really bad, awkward sequences and Jimmy Carr bluntly insulting the cast. Sean Lock already got dropped by life so...
Bill Bailey and Alan Davies make me smile
David Mitchell makes me a little bit angry because my mates keep telling me I look and sound like him
switch Sean Lock for someone funny like Rob Brydon
they keep sending me pictures like this one and saying "hey it's you with a beard"
and sadly they're right
I got the wrong bong genes
Sorry anon but that's hilarious.
You look like a famous and successful celebrity, known for his intelligence? Wow what a tragedy your life must be terrible.
I'm 23 and women routinely say they find him attractive at uni if that cheers you up
>Name your dream team, Cinemaphile

Sean Lock carried so many panel show episodes on his back.
>do you get called a tosser lot
Saved that episode
Every episode of cats does countdown is carried by Sean Lock and Joe Wilkinson
Not so much my dream team, but I saw pic related in a thread a couple of years back and never quite forgot it
I like Aisling Bea. She seems to be somewhat of an airhead sometimes though.
>watch a new bfq
>they have a literal moron on
fricking hell the world went to shit didn't it
why does her shirt look like it's a low polygon render?
TV budget cuts.
The Danes are a very geometric people.
>wo' if God isn't real?

damn son almost like people do the same tribalistic shit no matter where you go
>it's sexist to have an all male cast
>it's not sexist for the panel to be all women
>Rules for thee and not for me
works every time
Reminder that women don't want equality. They want more rights than men and to have absolutely no responsibilities.
both are homosexual pedophiles
All I want is for this legend to come back on in current day QI
he was way too smug and took it way too seriously, forgetting the purpose of the show is comedy
Watching Sean Lock work out his space bubble in real time killed me.
>Last episode with an all male line up
>titled "Kings"
Real life poetry.
This is season 11 episode 5.
>personality panel show
>female host
pass
I moved out of the UK in 2013, haven't watched the show since, what happened?
Leave QI kino to me
Terribly unfunny
filtered
>is the answer MY HUSBAND?
Literally her only joke
She's also got the one about her weight, anon.
>Name an intelligent bird
[hits buzzer]
>...me
Her one good moment
Best panel member is.... I forget her name but I think she's Scottish but she's got those FAT MILKERS
Couldn't get enough of them

I haven't watched panel shows since they mandated identity quotas. The drop in quality was evident.
Quotas make everything the same in the name of diversity. It's so backwards.
>good evening good evening good evening

>it's an audience member tries to make a joke and nobody laughs episode
>it's a Katherine Ryan episode
she ruins bfq
She has never improved any show ever.
She has the most basic b***h opinions and jokes I've ever heard in my life.
>Ahmagaahd, Beyoncee
Shut up, you vapid c**t
QI is already dead. Just make Katherine the host
Fuuuuuuck. Want.
They say of the acropolis
Only good woman
Post something funny she's said and we'll see
Sandi is not the problem. Honestly think she was one of the better choices to replace Stephen.

Absolutely nothing wrong with her
my biggest problem with panel shows now is I can pretty much guess to 90% accuracy what every single joke will be "le boris johnson bad, racists bad, immigrants on boats good" it's so boring.
Really this. I think when you hit 15 you start to realise it's all the same shit and that's when you stop tuning in
You don't get on telly if you don't agree, Anon.

>it's a Phill Jupitus episode
Who Cariad here?
Frick this dense b***h. Didn't she have the puppet gimmick when she first appeared? I'm still cringing
Le quirky short-haired lez gets old quick, and on the great British baking show or w.e she wasn't even the first one and neither of them were funny so the first lady had already worn out all the welcome. This little blob is annoying AF and I'm sure I'll absolutely love her personal politics.

Women really do ruin everything.
What a surprise.
drinking game: take a shot every time someone is making uncalled sexist remarks towards the guys in the panel
It's only toxic when men do it, sweaty 🙂
Me and the boys always boasting about our coconut opening skills
I think Sandi is actually as good of a follow-up to Fry as you could hope for
The problem is how shit nearly all British "comedians" under 40 are; go watch a clip from mock the week 10-15 years ago and watch one new and see just how unfunny the average comedian has become
I can't tell any of them apart.
