DiCaprio was straight up horrendous, just grinning. He had no idea how to play the role (a semi moron who knew what he is doing but did not understand the entire concept of consequences).
Raging Bull has a cool style but it's quite an exhausting watch, felt like a retreat of Taxi Driver too.
Goodfellas is one of the driest films I have ever seen. main character is an empty shell, I genuinely never understood the praise. I watched it several times and every time by the end of it it feels like I didn't watch anything at all. Casino was an improvement in every regard.
