I imagined Breaking Bad was a better show than what I actually got.

He talks to Skyler the same way he talks to Jessie in Season One. He never changed, he's just a pathetic larper from the beginning till the end.

Well yeah, most people here willingly watch The Boys.

Cinemaphile is exceptionally low IQ, making even the average /misc/tard seem intelligent by comparison. however, the boys is not popular, it's all inorganic shilling. This happens every time they drop a new season... the show isn't designed to be good, it's designed to generate buzz by getting people who hate the show to talk about it. that one youtube gay has like 2million views on a video of him shitting on the boys... that's probably more viewers than watched the actual show.

He's more ballsy than most men. He just became ballsy much later in life so he isn't comfortable and experienced in it like the professional dealers/soldiers/mobsters that he deals with. He resented Skylar treating him like a doormat still and took pleasure in finally putting her in her place and letting her know he's not just a soft-spoken chemistry teacher simp like he used to be

i don't know if you've ever noticed this before but just before he goes on his iconic "i am the one who knocks" speech, he takes off a shirt to reveal this darker shirt underneath. it's a very clever and subtle cue from the filmmakers that the character is revealing his inner darkness. just thought i'd share this clever detail with you because not many people are as observant as me.

You forgot to capitalize the beginning of your sentence and to end it with a period. But how would I know? I don't speak English according to (you).

        Anonymous

        >I'm not that anon btw
You forgot to put a comma after "sentence", you started a sentence with "But", you meant to say "can't" rather than "don't", and you didn't capitalise the "Y" in (You). You are an ESL mate. I don't know why pajeets take it as such an insult, every Euro ESL is fine with admitting that English is not their first language.

          Anonymous

          >Started a sentence with a But
Starting a sentence with a conjunction is not an error, and neither is using "don't" in the context of that sentence since the same idea is conveyed. The lowercase "y" is because "you" isn't a proper noun or a name. You might as well complain about not capitalizing "TV" in Cinemaphile since it's an abbreviation of the word "television." The only error I made is with the comma.
Regardless, the reason I did that is to highlight how vapid and insecure you are for not being able to address my original post. Calling Breaking Bad overrated has nothing to do with one's English skills, which, apparently, I possess better reading comprehension than the supposed "native" English speaker. I am also a native English speaker.

This scene was so fricking goofy. I can't believe breaking soiboys thought his "I'm the one who knocks" and "I'm le danger" dialogue and delivery was scary. It was so pathetic and laughably bad, especially the latter.
Can't believe Cranston won multiple awards for such bad acting and it's impressive how Anna Gunn kept a straight face when he delivered his lines in this scene.
Sam Jackson did this same monologue and was a hundred times better at it.

    >I am DeJuan Hoon Ocks
Really odd moment for him to reveal his half latin/half dutch ancestry. Was there something at play here? The dynamics of his fiery Latin roots in contrast with his European sense of order, perhaps? Still puzzled by this.

Cranston is actually really good at displaying the average father figure who actually isn't bluffing when he gets angry and lays down the law. His expression here would have you genuinely believe he's capable of violence in this moment, and not just ranting out of frustration

Walter was a schizo with multiple personality disorder. He went by many names during the course of the show.
Even after saying he's DeJuan Hoon Ocks a few minutes later he says " I am DeDanjer".
It was to show how unhinged he had become.

Wow, it's almost like he's a power tripping larper who bluffed hard and swindled other morons. The difference between Tony Montana and Walt is that Walt was a pufferfish who had to inflate himself to appear bigger than he was. Tony didn't need to.

Walt wasn't bluffing he just didn't have the guts to get his own hands dirty. He ordered a man's death, pulled off a terrorist attack on a notoriously psychopathic gang leader known and feared in 2 countries, and poisoned a child.

He absolutely was bluffing. He had jackshit for manpower and would have been taken out easily by any two bit drug gang if they knew in the slightest what he was working with.
