>Seeing the clip out of context before watching the show
>"Oh shit, this is probably a really powerful and shocking scene to see how far he's fallen."
>Watching this scene with context
>"Oh, this is a pathetic larp cuz he sent Jessie to kill (1) guy and now he's trying to intimidate Skyler into shutting the frick up."
I imagined Breaking Bad was a better show than what I actually got.

Yes. To show how far he's fallen.
?
>Yes. To show how far he's fallen.
He talks to Skyler the same way he talks to Jessie in Season One. He never changed, he's just a pathetic larper from the beginning till the end.
I'm beginning to realize Cinemaphile is just a very low IQ board
Well yeah, most people here willingly watch The Boys.
Cinemaphile is exceptionally low IQ, making even the average /misc/tard seem intelligent by comparison. however, the boys is not popular, it's all inorganic shilling. This happens every time they drop a new season... the show isn't designed to be good, it's designed to generate buzz by getting people who hate the show to talk about it. that one youtube gay has like 2million views on a video of him shitting on the boys... that's probably more viewers than watched the actual show.
Television is the lowest common denominator out of any interests, followed closely by video games.
>Cinemaphile is exceptionally low IQ, making even the average /misc/tard seem intelligent by comparison.
There's a massive overlap between the userbase.
>however, the boys is not popular, it's all inorganic shilling
Like 90% of the threads are /misc/tards whining about how the show is making fun of them.
He's more ballsy than most men. He just became ballsy much later in life so he isn't comfortable and experienced in it like the professional dealers/soldiers/mobsters that he deals with. He resented Skylar treating him like a doormat still and took pleasure in finally putting her in her place and letting her know he's not just a soft-spoken chemistry teacher simp like he used to be
In life, you are a doormat or a matador.
There's no in between.
Wrong. You can keep your woman in check and defend your family without becoming a back-stabbing, meth dealing, egomaniac
I see.
So you're a doormat.
Are you a matador?
Yeah.
Well druglords ever kill, they send other people to do the job(sicarios)

i don't know if you've ever noticed this before but just before he goes on his iconic "i am the one who knocks" speech, he takes off a shirt to reveal this darker shirt underneath. it's a very clever and subtle cue from the filmmakers that the character is revealing his inner darkness. just thought i'd share this clever detail with you because not many people are as observant as me.
A guy opens this thread and gets rekt and you think that of me? No. I am the one who reks.
OP is a fricking moron
no surprise since he's probably an ESL homosexual
You forgot to capitalize the beginning of your sentence and to end it with a period. But how would I know? I don't speak English according to (you).
>I'm not that anon btw
You forgot to put a comma after "sentence", you started a sentence with "But", you meant to say "can't" rather than "don't", and you didn't capitalise the "Y" in (You). You are an ESL mate. I don't know why pajeets take it as such an insult, every Euro ESL is fine with admitting that English is not their first language.
>Started a sentence with a But
Starting a sentence with a conjunction is not an error, and neither is using "don't" in the context of that sentence since the same idea is conveyed. The lowercase "y" is because "you" isn't a proper noun or a name. You might as well complain about not capitalizing "TV" in Cinemaphile since it's an abbreviation of the word "television." The only error I made is with the comma.
Regardless, the reason I did that is to highlight how vapid and insecure you are for not being able to address my original post. Calling Breaking Bad overrated has nothing to do with one's English skills, which, apparently, I possess better reading comprehension than the supposed "native" English speaker. I am also a native English speaker.
>gets butthurt when his bad English is called out
So does that mean you're a pajeet?
It's always the hispanics
This scene was so fricking goofy. I can't believe breaking soiboys thought his "I'm the one who knocks" and "I'm le danger" dialogue and delivery was scary. It was so pathetic and laughably bad, especially the latter.
Can't believe Cranston won multiple awards for such bad acting and it's impressive how Anna Gunn kept a straight face when he delivered his lines in this scene.
Sam Jackson did this same monologue and was a hundred times better at it.
>Sam Jackson did this same monologue
Holy frick that was so cringey. Wish I hadn't seen that. My opinion of him as an actor just dropped a few points.
Streets ahead of Cranston's goofy performance.
Let me guess, your favorite film is Star Wars or Harry Potter
Let me guess you're a breaking soiboy who thinks this overrated piece of shit is the greatest TV show in the history of the planet
>I am DeJuan Hoon Ocks
Really odd moment for him to reveal his half latin/half dutch ancestry. Was there something at play here? The dynamics of his fiery Latin roots in contrast with his European sense of order, perhaps? Still puzzled by this.
Cranston is actually really good at displaying the average father figure who actually isn't bluffing when he gets angry and lays down the law. His expression here would have you genuinely believe he's capable of violence in this moment, and not just ranting out of frustration
Walter was a schizo with multiple personality disorder. He went by many names during the course of the show.
Even after saying he's DeJuan Hoon Ocks a few minutes later he says " I am DeDanjer".
It was to show how unhinged he had become.
Bravo Vince!
>I'm De Kook. I'm De Mann Hoo Kiltgus Vring
But in this scene it seems he has his Dutch ancestry from different surnames. Wtf? Can somebody explain?
Cinemaphile now in a state of getting filtered by Reddit tier pleb shit. They literally spell it out for you morons that Walt is an egotistical manbaby. You're not supposed to think he's Tony Montana.
"we're gonna take mr. chips and turn him into scarface" - vince gilligan
>What is hyperbole
Wow, it's almost like he's a power tripping larper who bluffed hard and swindled other morons. The difference between Tony Montana and Walt is that Walt was a pufferfish who had to inflate himself to appear bigger than he was. Tony didn't need to.
Walt wasn't bluffing he just didn't have the guts to get his own hands dirty. He ordered a man's death, pulled off a terrorist attack on a notoriously psychopathic gang leader known and feared in 2 countries, and poisoned a child.
He absolutely was bluffing. He had jackshit for manpower and would have been taken out easily by any two bit drug gang if they knew in the slightest what he was working with.
Well if you mean he was strategically bluffing then yeah, any intelligent fighter does that. I meant that he wasn't bluffing about his willingness to hurt and even kill anyone who was in his way
"When you are weak, pretend to be strong. When you are strong, pretend to be weak."
- Some asiatic.
>hyperbole
>You're not supposed to think he's Tony Montana.
Explain this scene
?si=u2b9GKO_pSmEd-Ix
>there are no flaws in breaking bad you just don't understand it
how about you actually get some balls in real life and stop living vicariously through an embarrassing power fantasy
Whom are you quoting?
Who are you quoting?
wasnt it jesse who knocked at gale's door??? why did walt say he was the one who knocked? and didnt jesse ring the bell instead of knocking the door??
>I imagined Breaking Bad was a better show than what I actually got.
No, what you imagined is worse. You should stick to kdramas and daytime soaps.
The show is literally a comedy but all you dumb fricking hispanics think it's a serious drama. Absolutely unreal.
i just wish there was a part of breaking bad where walt actually was a real mob boss with actual underlings (not mercenary allies who frick him over). feels like it was teased the whole show but in the end he just ran around doing his own dirty work most of the time
