You know there can be two middle children, right?

There can't be a perfect middle among 4 children. I agree after Jamie is born then Malcolm becomes the middle child. But that's only after 4 seasons

Malcolm doesn't remember being on this show, it's like it never happened to him. It must be bizarre as hell to watch episodes of it for him.

Apparently the dudes brain damage is so bad he's had some form of visual hallucinations and eye seizures since his teenage years. Probably why he kept getting concussion after concussion - he couldn't visually understand the world correctly.

Frick I wouldn't wish that on anyone. He's cognatively aware enough to know his brain is fricked but can't do a damn thing about it.

No that isn't true. He went on Steve-O's podcast and said that rumor came from Dancing With The Stars twisting his words after they did an interview with him and tried to push him to say the year they won the Emmy was his favorite year, when he said he didn't really remember any specific year because he was a kid and they filmed so much stuff. They cut it in with him talking about the health problems he's had and made it seem like his brain is fricked but he's completely fine.

Malcom is a douchebag and I can't stand these weird shows where all the characters are just treating each other badly all the time
and it also has this antisocial let's laugh at poor people vibe americans seem to love so much

      >laughing at disadvantaged people is wrong
You mean kinda like how you all talk constantly about how it’s a mass shooting, no insurance, dog eat dog country here while you look down your noses at everyone unfortunate enough to born here?

It wasn't laughing at poor people, it was relatable humour. I was poor and it's one of the only relatable sitcom families. Also, Malcolm IS a douche bag, that's his character. It's funny because he's a genius but still a dickhead clueless kid.

Malcolm in the Middle is absolute kino '00s aesthetics. I have so many fond memories of this show and it works on so many levels. Tbh I haven't found anything like it. Sitcoms are usually overplayed, bottom of the barrel gag sequences, while everythign in MitM feels planned and thought out. Loved the secondary characters, even the one-shot like chess dude.

Married with Children is more of a realistic "poor" family show
Malcom was not even poor, they had all kind of stuff and shit that only poor people could dream about.
