morons that didn’t realize Cena was part of the WWE which is known for doing crazy gags. This is very mild for him and he wasn’t even naked. Plus this is only humiliating if you’re fat

Can't speak for anyone else but I'm just irked that we can have "comedy" bits leveraging male nudity while we have video game companies putting out patches to cover a little bit of cleavage in a five year old game. The double standards are the problem, either the two genders are equal or they're not, you can't have both. Obviously they aren't equal, in reality women want to exploit all the advantages of both men and women with none of the downsides, all the while systematically eliminating all male-spaces and hobbies, gaslighting men that everything is their own fault.

So reeling it back in, it's an instance of a man being grossly sexualized and on display for a female gaze, but due to our polarized culture war we can't openly acknowledge it as such. We just have to accept that the reality we exist in and the one that is commonly accepted are not the same.

This reminds me of that greentext about the severely autistic man who wouldn't stop screaming at his mom until Eritrean rapists stopped immigrating to Sweden.

This double standard only exists in your head and of most extreme sjws. We live in an era where Sydney Sweeney is famous for showing her breasts everywhere. Even her SNL appearance was focused on her breasts.

        Anonymous

We also live in an era where video games are being retroactively and selectively censored.
Sweeney got backlash for her appearance.

        >we have video game companies putting out patches to cover a little bit of cleavage in a five year old game
We also have naked elves 69'ing under the moonlight in ancient temples.
Pretty much every HBO show has frontal female nudity.
Ditch the victim complex, it's unbecoming.

Let me know the next time there are fully naked women handing out awards.

not denying revisionism is cancer but the only time I ever hear of vidya censorship is because of anime tiddies and that's been going on since forever

You’re being disingenuous or you’re just moronic. There are so many examples in television, film, and video games where the creators make an effort to cover up women and/or explicitly state how they are trying to avoid sexualizing and objectifying women. Just because not every single creator does not adhere to that double standard does not mean that double standard doesn’t exist.

video game devs tend to be homosexual trannies, you are comparing apples to oranges. sure, I agree that censoring cleavage in video games is moronic as frick but the people in charge of what gets produced in show business are doing what they do to appeal to a different audience. gaming has proportionally speaking a lot more homosexuals associated with it, and that's saying something

        Anonymous

And lots of the people in charge of what gets produced in show business are against the “sexualization” of women and the “male gaze”. How many Oscar speeches have there been about feminism and other bullshit like that? They would never a skit like this with a woman and you know it, let’s stop trying to pretend like that double standard doesn’t exist in Hollywood too.

It’s blatant double-standard. If the “male gaze” is some problem that supposedly needs to be solved, this bullshit shouldn’t be acceptable either, and just goes to prove that women and homos are to blame for destroying entertainment across the board.

It’s also just another example of “Let’s emasculate this guy who’s known for tough guy roles.”

I don’t think anyone was really upset by it per se. It’s more like they’re annoyed by it because either consciously or subconsciously they realize that modern day would never do something like this with a woman, and they see how modern day Hollywood is all about covering up women and not objectifying/sexualizing them. So something like this forces people to consciously or subconsciously recognize all the hypocrisy that is rampant throughout modern day Hollywood, and naturally hypocrisy makes people annoyed. You’d have to be a literal NPC if you can look at this and have your brain not even subconsciously recognize the hypocrisy. And you’d have to be a literal NPC to not get annoyed at hypocrisy. So if this doesn’t annoy you it says way more about you than it does about the people who get annoyed by it.

This is the price he pays for being handed a movie career. They own him now and are emasculating him at very turn. Wouldn't surprise me if they ended up pushing him to troon out.

You don't get to be a masculine heterosexual white man in this industry anymore. Absolutely zero respect for Cena for selling out like this. You can see the bull cum streaked across his face in every appearance now no matter how many times he tries to wipe it clean.
