The DVD special feature with the news descending into total despair is still great even if it's cheesy. There have been other fake disaster newscasts, but the idea of a zombie outbreak during the revival of the zombie/infected genre seem more realistic at the time. The last line is still great.
>be me >start watching anime around 8 (Robotech, sailor moon, dbz and Gundam Wing) >local video store has an anime section >watch stuff like Patlabor and Venus Wars >rent Akira, it made me feel a little funny but loved it. >EoE is there >rent it because I thought the Evangelions look cool >watch it >”I’m so fricked up” didn’t register because I was too young but liked the breasts >It pretty grim but I thought the situation would get better for NERV >Asuka starts fighting the MP Evas and she loses and dies a horrible death >holy frick >one of my first waifus “Misato” dies. >things just get depressing and shinji is a just a mopey mess >ends on a bitter note and my 11 yo brain doesn’t understand what happened >don’t even know how to comprehend what I watched
I was depressed after I watched it and couldn’t describe the feeling i had. I think I put in a video tape of Ren and Stimpy I had just to watch something funny to get my mind off of it. I know the memes of “what the frick did I just watch”, but goddam did that frick with my young mind.
This shit when I was 6 or so. Also King Kong (2005) where the primitives climb on the boat at night and the first Hellboy, especially the gas mask guy.
I had seen the movie in theaters, but when they showed it on TV Voldemorts face on Quirrel scared the piss out of me and I couldn't watch it.
My mom already thought Harry Potter was satanic and when she saw how scared I was, banned me from reading any of the books or watching the movies, which I was obsessed with.
From that day on I swore to never show any fear, and dedicated myself to the blade.
Man I thought I was the only one that was terrified by the natives of Skull Island in that film. It really did seem like they went out of their way to make those guys as creepy as possible.
The sink scene from the blob. I covertly watched the whole movie by peeking around the doorway when I was about 6yo. I remember being terrified to go anywhere near the bathroom or kitchen sink for a while after that.
Nothing else in the film got to me that much but when it's disposing of the body and starts staring at the kids driving past it's just so unnerving to me
The opening scene with the truck menacing them and this scene are the only scary ones in the film, pretty much right after that it turns into a cartoon and ceases to have any scares
Jeepers Creepers is the kind of film that sounds scarier when you read the plot on wikipedia than it is to actually watch the movie lol. I'll admit the set up is great but it goes nowhere.
first time i watched this it was at my dads girlfriends house and her son was ruining the movie by crying and throwing a fit that my dad was fricking his mom. and he made fun of me earlier in the day for being 9 when he was 11.
this shit fricked me up real good for a while. started having trouble sleeping and would get night terrors. I watched it when I was like 7 years
Probably explains a lot about me today tbh now that I think about it.
The reason the Ukraine war started was that the Ukrainians had gathered their army, over 100,000 combat troops in the Donbass and they were getting ready to invade the Donbass and potentially invade Russia, thats why this war kicked off the 24th of February, the Ukrainian forces were going to invade Russia in mid March, that is a truth that is being hidden from you by the mainstream media in America, but that everybody outside of the united states and the western European news bubble knows.
It doesn't change depending on exposure, it changes on oxygen saturation. If you sever a vein, the blood won't magically become brighter because it's exposed to air.
there's a movie i've been trying to recall for ages, it's a sci-fi future i think set on earth, 80s/early 90s, there's a scene where there's a scary brown rock or something that fricked me up as a kid. also synthesizer were really important in it and had magical powers or something.
I first watched this whilst on a plethora of hallucinogenic substances and have loved it ever since, but also find it unsettling how the entire movie is centred around a creepy dude misguidedly trying to please a 13 year old(?) for the sake of being worshipped by her lmao
Great scene though, we see Tony's decision to no longer give a frick and stop being pushed around no matter the consequences, even if he or a friend dies a horrible death.
What movie?
Neverending Story
The Neverending Story 2
End of Evangelion
name?
i think thats tom cruse in the famous old film war of the worlds
lol where did you find this picture of me
London?
When i saw this as a kid I legit was terrified for months. This and darkness falls.
Same but the rest of the movie was so boring I fell asleep trying to watch through it twice and just gave up.
Yep.
These two plus the scene in the rock where the navy seal dudes get slaughtered
Is she ok?
Film?
The Ring (burger version)
>invade Russia
You guys are such an absurd shitshow you make the covid fearmongers seem reasonable.
What's all the red shit?
Alien cum.
The aliens dropped yummy red vines for the travelers to munch upon while on their treks through the beautiful wilderness.
Aliens were farming humans and terraforming the planet for their own use with them. Basically blending humans and spraying them all over earth.
Alien plant life watered with human blood
Martians were crushing up humans, sucking out the blood, and fertilizing the planet with it.
DOTD 2004 fricked me up. i freaked out so much about zombies I kept checking the news for an outbreak
The DVD special feature with the news descending into total despair is still great even if it's cheesy. There have been other fake disaster newscasts, but the idea of a zombie outbreak during the revival of the zombie/infected genre seem more realistic at the time. The last line is still great.
what a memorable tagline
This scene and Jason's unmasking in part 8 (it looked a lot more realistic when I was 4.)
What's Freddy doing here?
yeah it was kino but why was it so bright?
EoE
>be me

>local video store has an anime section

>rent Akira, it made me feel a little funny but loved it.
>EoE is there
>rent it because I thought the Evangelions look cool
>watch it
>”I’m so fricked up” didn’t register because I was too young but liked the breasts
>It pretty grim but I thought the situation would get better for NERV
>Asuka starts fighting the MP Evas and she loses and dies a horrible death
>holy frick
>one of my first waifus “Misato” dies.
>things just get depressing and shinji is a just a mopey mess

Robocop. You know what scene.
The Mist.
This shit when I was 6 or so. Also King Kong (2005) where the primitives climb on the boat at night and the first Hellboy, especially the gas mask guy.

Your mom sounds like a twit
Man I thought I was the only one that was terrified by the natives of Skull Island in that film. It really did seem like they went out of their way to make those guys as creepy as possible.
Between Pirates of the Caribbean, Apocalypto, and King Kong, that was really peak era for terrifying natives in film.
This shit gave me nightmares for years when I was a little kid, especially the bit with the lady and the chihuahua.
It was mostly the skeletons that scared me, any kind of scene of people getting reduced to them in a film spooked me
>scared of manlets that can be defeated by yodeling.
gay
A few scenes from The Mummy, especially this shot.
>be 10
>cant sleep
>mum lets me stay up and watch a movie with her
>its pic related
THANKS MUM.
Saw this when I was 12 shit fricked me up for like two weeks.
2 leafs? Must remember to watch it some time.
This.
Come and See
I watched this when I was 5~ dam this scared the shit out of me
Also the ring when I was like 10
The sink scene from the blob. I covertly watched the whole movie by peeking around the doorway when I was about 6yo. I remember being terrified to go anywhere near the bathroom or kitchen sink for a while after that.

My fricking ears dude
The opening scene with the truck menacing them and this scene are the only scary ones in the film, pretty much right after that it turns into a cartoon and ceases to have any scares
shame the rest of the film fricking sucks after the great first 30 minutes. Never seen a film kill its own potential so thoroughly/quickly.
Jeepers Creepers is the kind of film that sounds scarier when you read the plot on wikipedia than it is to actually watch the movie lol. I'll admit the set up is great but it goes nowhere.

This whole movie fricked me up when i saw it, the kicker? i watched it with my older sister
I always wondered why the TOS sound of transporters is so creepy compared to other series. Turns out they're death traps
This scene gave me whiplash as a child.
Its just so unexpected
Okoto's corruption in Mononoke hime.
Just say Princess Mononoke you fricking weeb
I actually did it on purpose because I knew somebody will take the bait.
this shit fricked me up real good for a while. started having trouble sleeping and would get night terrors. I watched it when I was like 7 years
Probably explains a lot about me today tbh now that I think about it.
I haven't watched this movie to this bloody day and I never will.
The film is a really fricking accurate adaption of the story, so just read the book. It's an excellent read.
the disembodied lips in the opening of the Rocky Horror Picture Show used to freak me out to no end as a kid
Sure is summer in here
The wheelers from return to oz. I was 9 but that stuck with me for a good five years.
>why are you afraid of dogs?
The reason the Ukraine war started was that the Ukrainians had gathered their army, over 100,000 combat troops in the Donbass and they were getting ready to invade the Donbass and potentially invade Russia, thats why this war kicked off the 24th of February, the Ukrainian forces were going to invade Russia in mid March, that is a truth that is being hidden from you by the mainstream media in America, but that everybody outside of the united states and the western European news bubble knows.
It was actually Belorussia they were going to invade as it was revelaed to Lukashenko in a potato vodka hangover fueled fever dream.
you can't invade your own country, moron. And to think they'd go into Russia is laughable
Forest Demon from Smiling Friends
i was a child, in movie theater with school friends, watching this shit thinking What the frick did i get myself into
blood is way darker than that
Not when exposed to oxygen
It doesn't change depending on exposure, it changes on oxygen saturation. If you sever a vein, the blood won't magically become brighter because it's exposed to air.
movie?
there's a movie i've been trying to recall for ages, it's a sci-fi future i think set on earth, 80s/early 90s, there's a scene where there's a scary brown rock or something that fricked me up as a kid. also synthesizer were really important in it and had magical powers or something.
The He-Man movie had the synth, at least: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EePE76xVWNs&t=6m40s
Sixty nining with my sister when we were both ten. I'm straight now but enjoying another girls pussy so much made me thing I was a lesbian for ages.
Was that a one time thing or a regular occurrence?
Still reeling
for weeks after I first saw Labyrinth I was convinced David Bowie was hiding in my closet and there were goblins living in my pillows
I first watched this whilst on a plethora of hallucinogenic substances and have loved it ever since, but also find it unsettling how the entire movie is centred around a creepy dude misguidedly trying to please a 13 year old(?) for the sake of being worshipped by her lmao
Yeah but connely looks hot as frick, its understandable
>she just wants to be normal
first time I actually had to look away from the screen during a movie
Great scene though, we see Tony's decision to no longer give a frick and stop being pushed around no matter the consequences, even if he or a friend dies a horrible death.
My dad showed me this when I was like 8 and I had nightmares for about a month
The ending had me shook
What happens
He dry humps a red dress
