>shot in a single take on the 4th attempt
It's sad that a movie like this will never be made again. Real filmmaking is becoming a lost art.

Cinemaphile has zero taste
I mean that's pretty cool but is it actually any good or is it just pretty to look at?
It's not even a film, it's the equivalent of just filming a dance troupe for 90 minutes and then going "LOOK THIS IS A ONE TAKE FILM".
>It's not even a film, it's the equivalent of just filming a thing
Is any recording of a live performance like a play or a concert a one take film?
yes
Its Kino.
It's cool. A very condensed Russian history
Two more weeks until kids are back in school.
Yes, then they will stop pretending to be impressed by "first day of film school" gimmick shit like this.
Finally we get back to brown lesbian trannies using Twitter, toyslop and capeslop instead. The way film making is suppose to be
>If I keep saying something I don't like is a gimmick then people won't realize that I have dog shit taste
Are you the director or something bro?
You are a teenager and you consume capeshit. You have no real life and you will never know real art.
Just a simple man who appreciates art. You wouldn't understand
It's barely a movie, it's just a choreographed dance.
Most impressive single take I ever saw was from Ong Bak 2(?) Where he fights up the stair case, its like a 5 minute shot, took them like 7 months to accomplish
>Ong Bak 2
Tom Yum Goong (alt titles: Warrior King or The Protector).
I wish the sound fx weren't so cartoonish
>The Protector
Thats it, thanks anon
fr fr ong
>he thinks the single take gimmick is anything special or unique
Modern "single take" films like Birdman and 1917 aren't made in a single take. We have the technology now to edit multiple takes to look like a single take.
Boiling Point was a real single take, and so was Victoria.
Victoria was great. Lovely score.
>woah movie has gimmick
>movie good
lel
all euroshit films are 10% plot 90% long takes of trees or people being sad
Everyone knows plot instantly turns your film into capeshit.
You don’t even need to be good at shooting trees anymore. They gave the Palme d’Or to a film that looks like a Netflix original movie.
Holy shitballs they filmed it in LE ONE TAKE! I've gotta post about this on Reddit!
>coordinating hundreds of actors and scenes in a grand historical epic
>harkening back to era of opera and theater
>it's le gimmick
Why do zoomers think everything that isn't capeshit is condescending and pretentious?
Actual theater does this every single time they perform, it's not impressive.
What is intermission?
Not on that scale, zoom zoom.
>thinking a single stage is the same as a moving camera crew.
The frustrating part with zoomers is that they think their takes are well thought out when they really aren't
>shot in a single take
impressive
Thats one thing that always amazes me about older films, the farther back you go the more common 1-2 minute takes become. The actors were a completely different breed
Rope is actually three takes spliced together to make it look like a single take. This is most obvious when he zooms in on the wall then zooms back out to hide the cut.
It's still impressive that the story occurs in real time, though
There was some other movie done similar. Can't remember the name. A father, brother and daughter are renovating a house and "spooky" shit happens.
Turns out in the end the girl was molested by the father and uncle.
Any idea what movie it is?
sounds like elizabeth olsen one
Ah frick I know what you're talking about, let me check my Plex, I know I watched it
What Josiah Saw?
i tried watching but the camera literally being a ghost whispering confused statements about what he's seeing was a terrible decision
One shot.
A million shots.
Who cares.
>Comparing a 6 min good music video to a hour and half movie with many stages and parts.
Why are zoomers so moronic? Too much tiktok?
>Thinking these are comparable in any way
Holy shit zoomer Holocaust when
Fuggin Based taste, anon.
The stars truly aligned to architect such KINO
>Russia is sanctioned
>but Russian movies are allowed
>Real filmmaking is becoming a lost art
Real filmmaking has editing. It's never been single-take shit.
