If I painted a mech every time I saw a “BattleTech influencer” posting about their “gender dysphoria acting up”, I’d have an entire regiment painted this year alone. Even Blake Himself did not foresee this madness.

Anons being dum-dums blowing things out of proportion as always.
You don't understand! They made a game where I could choose if I am a boy, girl, or non-binary! Do you know how traumatizing it is to have that choice pushed in front of your face for all of half a second before choosing and then never having it affect me again?!
I enjoyed this despite not playing the tabletop or computer games
In hindsight it was pretty much Western Gundam and that guy was a Char, and I was first exposed to Gundam a few years later
Yeah, probably. The best route to it would probably be to utilize talent from existing community efforts bootstrapped through a publisher. What'd come to mind is probably something spearheaded by D.C. Bruins and the Black Pants Legion, who already have plenty of experience producing polished Battletech content, and pair them to actual studio and production resources. It might be something GLITCH Productions is actually a good fit for. That whole paragraph feels like a meme but I don't know of another studio that would be willing to take on Battletech's IP and make a sincere effort to work with the existing material vs. just carving out a new section of space to tell a new story away from all the canon.
They could also just kickstart it too, the last few Battletech boxes did gangbusters and I think people would throw millions at a a Battletech production for streaming services if you just threw a few new sculpts in for backers.
I'd be excited for something on the Battle of Tukkayid. Seems like a great flashpoint to cover, lots of spicy drama and definitely the pinnacle moment of the world's narrative save maybe the Battle for Terra during the Star League Civil War. Plenty of intersecting character stories to work with, an underdog story in ComStar's largely green army facing the battle-tested Clans, and plenty of fan familiarity with its big story beats would make it a good choice for viewers both familiar and unfamiliar with the whole thing.
Yeah, this is a ComStar board. Remember, a working HPG keeps the cartoons on TV.
Only if it's just as corny as the OG. But sadly the companies that own battletech are full on tranny hives right now.

You will never pass, freeborn.

Nobody cares about Battletech except 40+ year old neckbeards.

It was probably more of a western Macross/Robotech, given how many Macross robots are basically just Battletech mechs.
Why is it always this one particular screenshot.
Because the people of the Inner Sphere keeps refusing his Batchall.
Because it's just so utterly ridiculous
Which era and who would it follow?
Knights of the Inner Sphere and HOUSE MOTHERFUCKING MERRICK!
>Merrick
Regulan hands typed that post
IlClan would be most likely. Gotta tie it into the games.
Reminder that Cinemaphile is an INNER SPHERE BOARD
CLANNERS OUT

You'll get your phone bills when you come pry them out of my cold dead hands

We backtraced your IP already and a Level II has been dispatched to your mom's house. Hope you like Crab.
Only if they share the animation budget with a video game.
