Harry Potter is set in the UK, HBSE is Warner Bros. dedicated animation studio for the UK... Seems like the kind of thing J.K. would go for.

What would a Harry Potter series be about?
Do they adapt the movies, or do we have a new cast in the Hogwarts setting going about their adventures.
Probably a spinoff, besides it’ll never happen.
probably something like TTG where it's the gang going on goofy adventures and trolling Voldy
You can do a Hogwarts series set in modern times with an entirely new cast. Some times older characters from the books would show up. Neville would be a professor and head of Gryffindor House and the main connection the show has to the old books. Harry Ron and Hermione would be mentioned as world famous wizards sometimes, but they'd only show up briefly for season finales, like how Luke showed up in mandolorian.
They can also do a hogwarts series set in the same years Harry Potter took place but from the POV of kids in Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. Also for good measure, the team should have a Slytherin who isn't evil, to show the positive side of Slytherin House. The show could have a similar tone to camp Crustaceous. One of the kids can specialize in taming magic beasts, maybe as Newt Scamander's grandson or something, so they can tie that franchise in to the show too.
It can have the same tone as Clone Wars. Season 1 starts childish in tone but it gets more serious and mature the longer the show goes on-just like the harry potter books aged up with their audience.
>You can do a Hogwarts series set in modern times with an entirely new cast.
Make it future. The "present" of Cursed Child is 2020.
a lesbian black girl enrolls to Hogwarts and change everything
Yes
No Harry Potter animated series should ever be made
>Oh I agree JK is so transphobic!
No, it's because Harry Potter is absolute horseshit for 9 year olds that has never been good
I rewatched harry potter a few months ago and man they were really products of their time. Any remake or adaption would just not feel right at all. Though the passion behind Hogwarts Legacy kinda tells me otherwise.
Harry Potter really is something that came out at just the right time.
I mean, JK Is a transphobic Karen, she's hates comics and cartoons because she thinks they're for children.
Desu, Harry Potter as a franchise has proven itself to be lightning in a bottle. Cursed Child sucked and introduced some dumb retcons, Hogwarts Mystery was a shitty app with a cute Slytherin waifu and Fantastic Beasts have ranged from mediocre to terrible.
>with a cute Slytherin waifu
post the slytherin waifu
wrong one
Genderbent Malfoy is the best Slytherin waifu
She would have been great
Getting your old rival pregnant, that would have been wild.
FemJames is hotter
FemJames doesn’t work tho. Girls can’t be jocks for the same reason they can’t understand Goodfellas: their brains simply aren’t wired for it
Girls can be jocks, we trained against jock girls. When I played high school soccer freshman year we trained against the senior girls. Jock girls exist and they are horny fucking coomers
I refuse to believe you without any proof. Why don’t you post some of these so-called "jock girls" that TOTALLY exist and, just to make it double impossible, post some asian ones too?
Anon that's too desperate.
They're fucking wizards, their jocks still just fly around on brooms all the time
You can tell the Marauders were drawn later since they look more feminine than Harry and Ron who just look the same but with longer hair, Ron barely even registers as changed.
She should have been a tsundere who helps harry in the end
She should have been a tsundere who fucks Harry
>JK Is a transphobic Karen
JKR is truly based.
Hating troons doesn't automatically make you based, troons are already hateable already.
She's a TERF (Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist) she makes shitty retcons about how Dumbledore was gay the whole time, or how Hermione is black, then gets seethed at by troons because they're they're men larping in dresses instead of real women. But yes, TERFs are the most based of feminists.
If you know about real magic, Dumbledore being gay makes a lot of sense. Many real works historic esoteric rituals involve sodomy.
*real world
I've never had a problem with Dumbledore being gay, but yes, the black Hermione thing was something to support the actress in that play, Rowling should have handled it better.
>I've never had a problem with Dumbledore being gay
I'm too upset by it either. It's just that it was never mentioned or foreshadowed. Because it comes as wanting easy brownie points without needing to rewrite the books.
Dumbledore being gay makes the most sense of any gay retcon. Guy was one of the most powerful and respected wizards in the world but was over 100 and had never been married; guy should have been drowning in pussy if he wished.
>JK Is a transphobic Karen
She's the same progressive cunt that you loved when she said Hermione was black. You retarded homosexuals just keep eating your own
And most cartoons aren't horseshit for 9 year Olds?
>"there is no ethical consumption of harry potter media in 2022"
Is Twitter right, Cinemaphile?
Fuck twitter.
yes, I don't want the CalArts types in LA infecting Harry Potter
>black Hermione
>indian Harry
no thanks
it's too late
Also Hermione gets a tan when her family goes on vacation to Egypt
Also she specified if someone was black or Asian or Indian, so white is just default
I know JK's bullshitting but that's one of the worst examples, that's an expression for being scared shitless.
Why does she refer to herself in the 3rd person?
Luna marries Neville at the end, right? Did I imagine that or is it canon?
Canonically he doesn't. Neville mentions he likes her in the movie, but that line isn't in the books
Dumbledore being gay isn’t in the books either
The key difference is that there's no "Harry did I ever confide into you the fact that I'm heterosexual" scene either.
Stop pushing your shitty leftist agenda on children
but the question is not about dumbledore
It's implied in the books given his man-crush on Grindelwald.
>Resident Cinemaphile trannies see a HP thread
these threads always suck here
You suck, homosexual
seeing the Hanna-Barbera logo at the end of a Harry Potter show would be hilarious
No one's investing in animation right now, the bubble popped.
yeah but Zaslav wants to start milking Harry Potter, that would naturally include animated shows for HBO Max. even Game of Thrones is getting one
Read another book, etc. Also Narnia and Earthsea are more deserving of an animated series.
>Also Narnia and Earthsea are more deserving of an animated series.
ha
I miss her so much
Doesn't jk Rowling despise animantion including western and anime and rejected many harry potter animantion pitches
remember to buy the game next year
Dumbledore was a literal wizard, do you really think he wouldn’t magic his balls into working again?
I do wonder how many people can actually quote what Rowling said when people call her literally hitler
>a man can't be a woman and a woman can't be a man.
JK Rowling
my god
I think that's the set
Male Hermonie would be alpha as fuck, and female Ron is waifu material.
How fitting for the dullest movie studio to be making a cartoon of the dullest book series that inspired the dullest franchise in the history of movie franchises? Seriously each episode following the boy wizard and his pals from Hogwarts Academy as they fight assorted villains has been indistinguishable from the others. Aside from the gloomy imagery, the series’ only consistency has been its lack of excitement and ineffective use of special effects, all to make magic unmagical, to make action seem inert.
Perhaps the die was cast when Rowling vetoed the idea of Spielberg directing the series; she made sure the series would never be mistaken for a work of art that meant anything to anybody?just ridiculously profitable cross-promotion for her books. The Harry Potter series might be anti-Christian (or not), but it’s certainly the anti-James Bond series in its refusal of wonder, beauty and excitement. No one wants to face that fact. Now, thankfully, they no longer have to.
>a-at least the books were good though
"No!" The writing is dreadful; the book was terrible. As I read, I noticed that every time a character went for a walk, the author wrote instead that the character "stretched his legs."
I began marking on the back of an envelope every time that phrase was repeated. I stopped only after I had marked the envelope several dozen times. I was incredulous. Rowling's mind is so governed by cliches and dead metaphors that she has no other style of writing. Later I read a lavish, loving review of Harry Potter by the same Stephen King. He wrote something to the effect of, "If these kids are reading Harry Potter at 11 or 12, then when they get older they will go on to read Stephen King." And he was quite right. He was not being ironic. When you read "Harry Potter" you are, in fact, trained to read Stephen King.
we were robbed from many hermione lewds if we had an animated adaptation
flipendo
>Seems like the kind of thing J.K. would go for.
Didn't she say a cartoon would be too childish? Cartoons are for children after all. Nothing like her mature book about magic kids for adults to read.
