Since Miles is slowly getting more Spider-Man shows, games/cameos, comics etc...

Can we also show Terry McGinnis some love? Don't get me wrong, Peter Parker and Bruce Wayne are the OGs for life, but I also like the idea of legacy characters taking over and having new stories to a beloved franchise, it prevents franchises from getting boring and some times fricked up reboots. That way, writers have more freedom to come up with something new without damaging the original hero. This is Also why I like the character of Nightwing, who's a pretty much "next Batman" as well

I think DC should start redoing some stuff with Terry.

By repeating literally everything the OG did verbatim?

    >That way, writers have more freedom to come up with something new without damaging the original hero
Spider-Man is way, way beyond that, he's been proven as undamageable repeatedly no matter how much writers try, in fact Miles and Spider-Verse have done far more to damage the IP than any of the shit stories Peter went through

    >This is Also why I like the character of Nightwing, who's a pretty much "next Batman" as well
No he's not, he's an actual separate character like Terry is, whereas Miles is just Spider-Man but for Bendis to jerk off to

The problem is new writers consistently miss the point and constantly just bring back "(thing) BEYOND!"

Same bullshit with Miguel and 2099.

Do they even try making those characters cool? That's the problem I have with modern 2099, it doesn't even try to be cool. It's dumb and goofy as frick.

DC has always sucked at marketing their characters. Cassandra Cain was made in 2000 and only got a proper animated adaptation in 2021

Batman Beyond takes a surprising amount of cues from Spider-Man, even down to the way that Terry moves, his attitude in a fight, and the occasional wholesale shot reference.

It's not really surprising, Timm was a Marvel kid growing up. Terry's mask is based off the masked Doctor strange look

Sorry, but Terry isn't diverse. We have enough comics about rich white guys as it is, and it's important to tell other stories. I haven't actually read or watched any of his stuff to see if he's rich, but I assume he is, and I don't want to check, I'm sorry, I just can't. I hate white people I mean rich people so much, sorry not sorry.
