seems that panels mostly focused on Dark Web more than anything else considering Duggan Mackay and Wells all their Tie-in to that events are mentioned and not their more successful ongoings

    >X-Men centric event
About the time the x-men became bigger players in MU

Please tell me you're joking. They've got their own nation, they took over Mars, they've got both the Earth and space economies on lockdown, they've never BEEN bigger. The only thing that's keeping them from being bigger is the X-office itself refusing to let anyone so much as touch the Krakoa status quo or any of the X-men's shit beyond the current AXE event. It goes both ways, you can't be a big player in the MU if you're too afraid of your status quo being fricked up by editorial bullshit.

Define "touch", because if you're suggesting other writers to start shit like random invasions on Krakoa or retcons on par with the Franklin retcon then it's better they don't touch it at all

While it'd certainly be a start, considering how the writers effectively NOPE'd the X-men out of Devil's Reign despite how hard it hit the cape community in New York, nah, no writer legit needs to go anywhere that far. Just doing the bare minimum of having the X-men actually show up in other books to do more than seethe and mald about how nobody loves them and their tropical island paradise would be far more than enough for me to call it square. The thing about being a "key player" is that fame is a two ways street. They absolutely can and should be the stars of their own stories, but they also have to play second fiddle when they show up in other heroes' titles. I'm not a fan of Carol Danvers, but far as I'm aware, she shows up all over the place as a secondary helping hand to a number of other heroes. Same with the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Black Panther, the Avengers both North Pole and West Coast, Nova, even fricking Venom does this.

TL;DR If the writers want the X-men to be the big swinging dicks in town, they have to do more than just send anonymous dickpics over the internet telling people how big their pecker is, they have to go streaking in public before anyone will say they have the balls to actually be a big player.

This, I remember reading classic comics back when the X-men WERE swinging dicks for real and X-men/Mutants would show up EVERYWHERE same with Spiderman. It feels like they're starting with things like Dark Web but they have to be more daring

The X-Men presence is a 3 issue side book so it won't even effect any of their ongoings despite it basically being a continuation of a Hellions and New Mutants plotline with Ben inserted into it

getting Franklin away from the mess that is X-Men comics was a great thing

yeah and keeping him in the mess that was slott FF is sure a great thing too

I agree, but then again the slott run was also pretty shit.

And i dont doubt that now that its over they'll re-retcon it.

I still don't know much of what the hell happened with Moira. She's a robot now? Hhat's the short summary of what happened with Hickman's run?

      Anonymous

Xavier and Magneto sent Mystique on a suicide mission to stop Nimrod from being brought online and failed and taunted her that they weren't going to bring Destiny back to life because of her failure. Moira meanwhile is super pissed, especially since Xavier/Magneto's response to failing to stop Nimrod was that they should start working towards cutting deals with every available AI/robots they can find so that they bully Nimrod into pariahdom and basically neutralize any development of AI that was anti-mutant. Moira also found out that Xavier chipped her to track her and ordered all back-up material on Destiny that could be used to resurrect her be destroyed, since she didn't like how Xavier had failed to stop Nimrod's birth.

        Anonymous

But Mystique beat them to the punch and impersonated Xavier to get Sinister and the Five to bring Destiny back in a younger body and then manipulated shit to get Destiny put onto the Quiet Council in Apocalypse's empty slot.

Xavier responded by telling Emma the truth about Moira and her powers and the futures Moira lived, which pissed Emma off to the degree that she gave Mystique and Destiny Forge's power stealing gun to effectively depower Moira (locking the timeline in the process) and cut off her arm/use it to basically lure Xavier and Magneto into a trap with Nimrod and Omega Sentinel. There Nimrod and Omega Sentinel destroyed Xavier's back-up making helmet (so the two wouldn't be brought back with knowledge from their encounter with them) and revealed that Omega's mind from the future went back to inhabit her younger body to prevent a future where mutants enslave the entire universe. ORCHIS basically exists solely to destroy mutantkind before they do this while allowing Nimrod to bring about a robot revolution for all AI everywhere since Nimrod tech is the only thing that will allow AI to beat humans in a human/robot war.

Moira's depowered and admits that she created Krakoa to depower all mutants at once but Cypher, with his Otherworld wife and Warlock at his side, stop Mystique/Destiny from killing Moira. They give Moira a techno-organic arm and she flees, but quickly discovers she has cancer and starts making her way back to Krakoa to get a new body; killing and skinning Banshee alive to impersonate him to get to the island.

          Anonymous

She arrives as Wolverine is chasing Omega Red through the past to keep him from killing Xavier's parents and the arrival of a techno-organic Wolverine who warns that Moira's going to betray mutantkind if she doesn't get her cancer cured. Xavier refuses because Moira's now a filthy flatscan so she vows to destroy Krakoa. She is killed by Wolverine when he returns from his time travel adventure but with her techno-organic arm has her mind backed up into a robot body and joins Orchis. During the Hellfire Gala, Moira forces Mary Jane Watson to help Orchis plant bombs (still undiscovered) in the Krakoa medicine greenhouse and gives the names up to the Eternals of the Five so they can try and stop mutant resurrection, which became public when Cyclops was killed by Dr Stasis, who is a renegade Mr Sinister clone who claims to be the original Mr Sinister.

ORCHIS has since expanded to include MODOK and Judas Traveler. The mutant colony on Mars was decimated by the Eternal Uranus, Brand is manipulating shit to keep the Shi'Ar Empire going as the planets the Shi'Ar conquered are starting to rebel; especially after the X-Men resurrect the Shi'Ar Empress (meaning she's now immortal).

            >Xavier refuses because Moira's now a filthy flatscan so she vows to destroy Krakoa.
That doesn't even make sense since killing depowered mutants to ressurect them with their powers back was one of the core elements.

Are you sure it wasn't the whole "never actually on your side" thing?

              Anonymous

She didn't want to be killed to be repowered. What doesn't make sense is she should have gone to like the top of the queue for revival after being killed by Wolverine given her importance to the island as an oh shit button.

How hilarious would it be if Marvel ends this bullshit with Moira accidentally getting cloned and robo-Moira killing mutant Moira?
