"Slime" is a dumb fucking element, and I know exactly what to replace it with. Spooky (or some similar word) would have been a great rough opposite to candy and would be great to flesh out cuz there's vampires and crazy demonic stuff all over this show.
I you're confused how these are opposites, I'm basically saying that cute/sweet/pink/girly works as a rough aesthetic opposite to dark/edgy. It's certainly better than FUCKING SLIME
It's a joke anon. They probably wanted two traditional elements and two weird ones for comedy
Yeah but slime is so bad it doesn't even work as a gag, it's genuinely just a terrible idea you can't do anything with
>Slime doesn't work as a gag in children's entertainment
Looks like someone was born in 2005.
Maybe Plague but that could be too spooksys for the chillens
you know what's the opposite of candy, fucking breakfast.
not in america
they eat cereal (candy) for breakfast
Not candy! Reese's Puffs Cereal!
Honestly wish she would've died in that episode.
>cinnamon rolls
>coffee cake
>french toast
>most varieties of waffles
>most varieties of pancakes
>doughnuts
Bruh what? How is breakfast the "opposite" of candy?
see what i mean
this is why americans are so fucked up they eat all this shit for breakfast and then wonder why they're diabetic
none of these are breakfast, those are deserts
Nigga, these aren't deserts, they're nutritional food
these are all yeasty dough + sugar
it's just carbs and fungus food
there's nothing nutritional about them
A lot of these items weren't invented in America though
they're not eaten for breakfast in their country of origin
>Pain au Chocolat
>Biscotti
>Litterally just fucking chocolate sprinkles and butter on bread, not toast, bread.
Continental love their pastry for breakfast
I take it back that does appear to be toast.
Shouldn't it be something like bitter with the Earldom of Lemongrab being at or near the intersection between the two?
Bitter would also give you slimy in, the form of among other things, (pre-genetic modified) brussel sprouts.
'Spooky' isn't a tangible thing though. Slime was the logical choice of the already established kingdoms. Also, the elements roughly correlate to the four temperaments. Slime being a good fit for the phlegmatic temperament - relaxed, complacent, and easy going.
candy is not tangible either though
it's just a concept
You can't eat a concept.
the entire point is pic related
Slime as passive makes 100% sense
Being selfless and sociable is such a fat fucking scam. Psychologists are evil.
This pretty much goes all in on Phlegmatic and Sanguine being positive attributes while Melancholic and Choleric are almost entire negative.
That really doesn't make sense though since Phlegmatic can easily be apathetic, indecisive, or resentful under that cold exterior while Sanguine can be unscrupulous, faithless, or insincere.
This chart is shit and has mixed different things together.
The whole concept in itself elementals is dumb anyway, why did they thought that giving to PB and two useless princesses the equivalent of shonen power-ups was a good idea???
And PB in specific doesn't make fucking sense.
I never got the point of the miniseries
Wouldn't that also give the lich elemental powers cuz he fills the "spooky" archetype pretty well
Break it down as polysachharides, water, aerobic respiration and protien. Broadly speaking its the four elements of biological life. You might need to put lipids in fire as fuel
