Where did the show go so wrong? I feel like the first three seasons are great, but the show really veers off course around season 5 and keeps getting worse until the end.

Season 2
>slow to get going, introduces new elements (clark's new power, new kryptonite, pete finding out his secret, the kawatche caves), Lex and Lionel rivalry is kino, the ending is kino
Season 3
>most kino season, Lex & Lionel's rivalry is pure unadulterated kino from Episode 1 to Episode 22, Lex in the asylum storyline is based, Clark gets new powers, early teasing of Jonathan's death
Season 4
>all the kino elements from earlier were resolved, back to MOTW episodes, high school setting becomes the focal point but it's fun, the three stones are an awesome plotline, Lois introduction is kino, metero shower ending is kino
Season 5
>mature, MOTW episodes + more experimental episodes like Lexmas and Splinter, main plotline is strong if not understated, has the best build up to S6
I haven't seen Seasons 6-10 in a while but from what I remember I liked Seasons 6 and 9 the most out of the back half of the show.

Yes definitely the first 3 seasons are the peak with the kino of the season 3 finale where Lionel seemingly takes out multi characters and Clark gets kidnapped by Jor-el. Season 4 was the dip in quality. Best thing after that was the Clark/Lois development and season 9 was the only decent season to come close to the first 3 seasons.

Season 4 isn't as kino as S2-3 with the Lex/Lionel arcs but S4 has that awesome Stones of Power storyline, the funnest high school setting and the second meteor shower at the end was the best finale of the show. Season 5 is also really good but it definitely goes downhill from S6 onwards.

Season 1-3 is early school life, and outside Clark/Lex relationship its fricking nothingburger and boring. Lana is fricking annoying as frick. I never bothered to retwatch them.
Season 4-5 is a pure highchool kino with bigger scope of a story, Lois being great, a lot of DC characters, and young Soldier Boy.
Season 6-7 were kinda meh, i dont even remember what happened here.
And then Season 8-10 are great again with Lois/Clark chemistry. There is something really fun and entertaining in watching them grow up and get more and more romantically involved.

Middle lady was super good in Saving Hope. Canadian hospital drama show about Doctor Daniel Jackson from Stargate SG-1 saving peoples lives while talking to spirits. Middle lady played his wife. There's even a hot lingerie scene. Highly recommended.
I liked that the villain was a israelite. I've seen a few videos of him livestreaming and he actually seems like a pretty normal dude, if kind of a bum. I guess that means he's pretty talented to be able to pull of a good Lex Luthor.
