This is the same species whose sole surviving male member is on par with new gods, able to frick up world forger (after some amped sun dips), and among other fricking moronicly powerful feats after just chilling around a yellow sun for approximately 20-ish years and this is before adding any blue sunlight into the equation.

There have been multiple instances of kryptonians coming back. Kandor is another example. But DC has historically wanted to keep the number of kryptonians running around as low as possible. At one point they did everything to keep Superman as the only one, even making Supergirl some weird goo creature or angel and Power Girl an Atlantean.
I get that, i’m talking about how in universe nobody ever seemingly goes “yeah let’s just go back in time or do something with the kryptonian so where we either kill them all before they become a threat or use them as slaves or genetic templates for breeding or some shit”

There was also a story in the N52 Batman/Superman run where XaDu the Phantom King (the very first Kryptonian to be sent to the phantom zone and went insane from the void of the place) went to become Superman's joker by brainwashing the citizens of the bottled city of Kandor into becoming superman hating kamikazis.
There's probably a bunch in the bronze/silver age too, when things were constantly "do whatever idea you want we'll return to status quo somehow".

Kryptonians are so powerful that everyone else is just a sideshow. The only thing that matters in the long term is when somebody will begin to mass produce kryptonians. Alternately Batman could just go around touching vetted people with his platinum kryptonite, and in a few days have an army that can easily crush any threat to the multiverse.
