The episode was bad, but is still probably the best or second best episode of Season 2.
It took a month for Unhappy Campers to reach 10 Million and Unhappy Campers was just as bad as The Circus, if anything E6 won't make it to 10 Million for a long while because of Campers.
This episode was not that bad especially compared to this season's episodes. No characters got assassinated, no nonsensical reveals. I wouldn't be surprised is it got more views than unhappy campers because Stolas, Ozzie, Fizz and Blitzo, and Striker are more wanted that Moxxie and Millie will ever be.

Really there's nothing extremely bad about it, it doesn't totally frick up characters like The Circus and Unhappy Campers did, the worst thing about it is that Fizz forgives Blitzo at the end of the episode, I'm onboard with that idea eventually happening, but this should have laid the groundwork for it instead of rushing through it.
Besides Fizz forgiving Blitzo in a rushed manner. I did find Ozzie and Fizz's interactions to be clunky and weird, I really hope it didn't make it to the final cut because the switch between Ozzie treating Fizz like a lover vs like a toddler was jarring.
Nah the worst part was how stupid that song was and that it somehow worked? Like seriously he distracted them by saying look at this? That’s the dumbest fricking thing ever. You want to make it funny should’ve had striker shoot him in the kneecap when he started the song he bleeds he screams and Crimson kicks Stricker in the dick for damaging the merchandise. Blitzo tries to kill Striker gets pinned down instantly Striker thinks he can kill him but Crinaon says no after he fricked up his merchandise. Crimson thinks he won but he soon realizes he’s not working with Ozy but for him now and he’s under the microscope, cameras always watching him. From what I can tell, S1E7 has been effectively ruined with Fizz forgiving Blitz and the random inclusion and presumed death of Crimson means no retribution for Moxxie and his dead mother. Uncertain, but fire is kind of dependent on its fuel, different heats and all kinds of weird stuff. Little bit hand wavy, but that's kind of how any kind of magical storytelling is. "It's just magic ok!" Perhaps the extra sulfur hurts them or some such.

True, my idea was more them being both on a higher level compared to other demons and also being completely in tune with what sins they're supposed to embody or making others succumb to them.
So you get stuff like Lucifer having an extreme ego that he only ever slightly drops around family (whom he still puts pictures of himself over them in his own personal places), Leviathan obsessing over the tiniest things people could have over him, or Satan running Wrath as a fight club where killing people for looking at you funny is fair game and rewarded outside of mandated farmers. Lucifer also made it illegal and punishable by death in Hell to mention that he got his ass whooped by his brother during his failed coup eons ago and had it rewritten that he totally won that war but went easy on God and went somewhere else instead.

There's plenty of room for social commentary with almost every one of the characters, if you really want to go down that road. Unhappy marriages, plus struggles with your sexual orientation? Stolas, Stella, Blitzo. Feelings of inadequacy as a result of being perceived as less manly or less capable due to your interests? Moxxie's territory, clearly, and so on. That would require a genuine understanding of the kinds of issues that tend to plague people, and a willingness to explore them in earnest. All the show winds up doing is superficially pander to those topics via the moronic bullying of uwu good beans that never do anything wrong, ever, and milk it as hard as possible.
...And Viv going on about how important it is to validate, care for and be inclusive of everything and everyone is just the cherry on top, really. Her depictions of gay men could not be more fueling of negative stereotypes, and her milking of Sallie May, whose bulge grows bigger with every merch drop, is about as cynical as it gets.
But don't you dare say anything, lest you incur the wrath of those who spend most of their days on Tumblr and Twitter, because like Blitzo, Vivz is an uwu good bean who can't ever do anything wrong, ever.
Also, Pentious is a fun character to treat as a writing prompt for your own bullshit. Unless A24 told Viv to frick off and let professional writers handle the show though, he'll probably go down the road of Stolas or Striker. Horny bougie or social commentary on the level of an upset Tumblr blog post.
Viv seems like the kind of girl who gets bored of concepts and ideas very quickly. It would explain why character's motivations and personalities are always changing. and that she's a shit writer but that's besides the point.
Both of these are why I wish she'd hire quality writers with a strong track record. The concept of Helluva, art style and animation are all great, but with Brandon Rogers now writing for his own future projects and mostly doing voice acting for it, the writing has really tanked.

Whoever wrote this episode did better than everyone else this season despite it being rushed and the dialogue as far as the leak is concerned being cringy. I'll be pleasantly surprised if the writting stays at this level because the writting so far this season has been dogshit and this episode was just kinda crappy.

It’s amazing, this post makes me want to gouge my eyes out, yet it’s only scratched the surface as to how EVIL the plot can get from here.
She’s calling it ‘cruelty’ now. Like all those other exaggeraters who claim that they’re being ‘abused’ (made fun of and/or critiqued) and that it’s just evil that people do it. Even though most of these types do it themselves and are usually just hypersensitive about it being done to them. You can call lots of it bad or having vileness, but you can’t call it cruelty. I’m really beginning to hate this b***h.
I used to have a passing anger and to Viz on the brink of hate with added humorous posting and jokingly shit talking, but these bullshit posts that only look like appeals and attempts to get people to moralize with her supposed plight. I already hated her pretty much with the VA troubles, but excused it as probably not something she was fully in control of or her fault. But this petty pity party shit attempt at moral manipulation is actually disgusting.
She does catch a lot of irrational anger from antagonistic dipshits and early on when the news that her show was getting picked up dropped, there were multiple daily hate threads about her. The voice actor stuff pissed off a lot of people but the rules change once you go mainstream so it might not have been 100% in her control.
That said, she’s done an awful lot on her own that people also criticize her for and she seems to conflate that justified criticism with the irrational shit and chalk it all up to trolls and autists with anger issues.
The lackadaisy shit started when she was caught talking shit about the director (seemingly out of nowhere). They caught wind and got upset about it and instead of profusely apologizing, she stoked the flames of division, divided the fans, and tried to paint herself as the supportive friend who had her hand slapped away for no good reason.
I hope therapy helps. As

We're entering a new era of large-scale indie productions so a lot of this stuff is being figured out as we go along. Regardless of how you feel about her, Vivzie is kind of a trailblazer in those regards and it's unfortunate, but I think a lot of people are learning lessons from her missteps.
I'm fully supportive of all indie ventures (including vivzie's productions) so I chalk all this up to growing pains. I want HB, HH, Glitch, LD, and anything else on the horizon to succeed so we can see more ideas coming to life without the corporate meddling. I know people like to shit on that Boxtown production, but I fully support that too. Let's do it all.

Great. Do that. Music and games can afford to take more risks because they can be the passion project of one person. Animation is nearly impossible to pull off as one person, so funding becomes necessary which means they need to cast a wider net. It took a month for Unhappy Campers to reach 10 Million and Unhappy Campers was just as bad as The Circus, if anything E6 won't make it to 10 Million for a long while because of Campers.
This episode was not that bad especially compared to this season's episodes. No characters got assassinated, no nonsensical reveals. I wouldn't be surprised is it got more views than unhappy campers because Stolas, Ozzie, Fizz and Blitzo, and Striker are more wanted that Moxxie and Millie will ever be.

True, my idea was more them being both on a higher level compared to other demons and also being completely in tune with what sins they're supposed to embody or making others succumb to them.
So you get stuff like Lucifer having an extreme ego that he only ever slightly drops around family (whom he still puts pictures of himself over them in his own personal places), Leviathan obsessing over the tiniest things people could have over him, or Satan running Wrath as a fight club where killing people for looking at you funny is fair game and rewarded outside of mandated farmers.
Lucifer also made it illegal and punishable by death in Hell to mention that he got his ass whooped by his brother during his failed coup eons ago and had it rewritten that he totally won that war but went easy on God and went somewhere else instead.

There's plenty of room for social commentary with almost every one of the characters, if you really want to go down that road. Unhappy marriages, plus struggles with your sexual orientation? Stolas, Stella, Blitzo. Feelings of inadequacy as a result of being perceived as less manly or less capable due to your interests? Moxxie's territory, clearly, and so on. That would require a genuine understanding of the kinds of issues that tend to plague people, and a willingness to explore them in earnest. All the show winds up doing is superficially pander to those topics via the moronic bullying of uwu good beans that never do anything wrong, ever, and milk it as hard as possible.
...And Viv going on about how important it is to validate, care for and be inclusive of everything and everyone is just the cherry on top, really. Her depictions of gay men could not be more fueling of negative stereotypes, and her milking of Sallie May, whose bulge grows bigger with every merch drop, is about as cynical as it gets.
But don't you dare say anything, lest you incur the wrath of those who spend most of their days on Tumblr and Twitter, because like Blitzo, Vivz is an uwu good bean who can't ever do anything wrong, ever.
Also, Pentious is a fun character to treat as a writing prompt for your own bullshit. Unless A24 told Viv to frick off and let professional writers handle the show though, he'll probably go down the road of Stolas or Striker. Viv seems like the kind of girl who gets bored of concepts and ideas very quickly. It would explain why character's motivations and personalities are always changing. and that she's a shit writer but that's besides the point.
Both of these are why I wish she'd hire quality writers with a strong track record. The concept of Helluva, art style and animation are all great, but with Brandon Rogers now writing for his own future projects and mostly doing voice acting for it, the writing has really tanked.

She does catch a lot of irrational anger from antagonistic dipshits and early on when the news that her show was getting picked up dropped, there were multiple daily hate threads about her. The voice actor stuff pissed off a lot of people but the rules change once you go mainstream so it might not have been 100% in her control.
That said, she’s done an awful lot on her own that people also criticize her for and she seems to conflate that justified criticism with the irrational shit and chalk it all up to trolls and autists with anger issues.
The lackadaisy shit started when she was caught talking shit about the director (seemingly out of nowhere). They caught wind and got upset about it and instead of profusely apologizing, she stoked the flames of division, divided the fans, and tried to paint herself as the supportive friend who had her hand slapped away for no good reason.
I hope therapy helps. As
said, hopefully therapy helps. The moment she graduated from SVA and entered the professional field (and honestly probably while she was still in college) she should have kept her public profile just for posting about her projects and supporting other artist friends. Instead she used it as a diary and a way to vent frustrations and, as it turns out, that wasn’t such a great idea.
I hope her show does well, I hope she’s able to find inner peace, and I hope things can get back on track for her, but this is a cautionary tale for any aspiring creator.

We're entering a new era of large-scale indie productions so a lot of this stuff is being figured out as we go along. Regardless of how you feel about her, Vivzie is kind of a trailblazer in those regards and it's unfortunate, but I think a lot of people are learning lessons from her missteps.
I'm fully supportive of all indie ventures (including vivzie's productions) so I chalk all this up to growing pains. I want HB, HH, Glitch, LD, and anything else on the horizon to succeed so we can see more ideas coming to life without the corporate meddling. I know people like to shit on that Boxtown production, but I fully support that too. Let's do it all.

Great. Do that. Music and games can afford to take more risks because they can be the passion project of one person. Animation is nearly impossible to pull off as one person, so funding becomes necessary which means they need to cast a wider net.
